    The explanation of where you feel the pressure for each release helps tremendously! Thank you!

    It was really nice seeing Frankie say "Let me do my regular one so I don't forget it" lol. Seems like it's super easy to forget how anything feels.

    Amazing early christmas gift! Lavoie is my favorite player and I've been struggling with hand position a LOT. This feels like it was tailor made for me.

    I don’t have any questions for Frankie. I just want to say that I love and appreciate your game. I’ve always tried to keep the game as simple as possible which allowed me more control. Keep the videos coming. Happy holidays🤙🏿🤙🏿💯💯🙏🏿🙏🏿

    What's Frankie's favorite hobby?
    Definitely, this video is an excellent example of what we really need to do instead of being crazy about buying bowling balls without some much knowledge. Great work, guys. very helpful instructions and video. Thank you for free advice on how to get better results in our game. 👍🎉🎉

    Good video for those like myself who simply release the ball without the need for 1000 rpms. Explanations are simple and to the point. The challenge on getting around the ball is not flaring the elbow out. It took me awhile to finally pay attention to that.

    Have you ever had to use a higher rotation release farther right or less rotation farther left? and on what type of conditions if you have? Thx great content 👍

    Great info, especially the emphasis on feel. I took a snap shot of the triple frame and the difference between your hand position at release is indiscernible! So something else is happening.

    Great stuff! Good job guys, and Frankie.
    2 part Question for Frankie - Are you always paired up with the same people during qualifying? (At the same tournament) And does the PBA take into consideration if there are people who would prefer not to bowl with someone else?
    A general question: So this may be a bit of an advanced question- How do you change axis tilt and when do you find most useful?

    • @francoislavoieofficial
      @francoislavoieofficial 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Lane pairings in qualifying are always randomized. Tilt is very hard to change. For a quicker fix, I'd focus on changing rotation with different hand positions

    Frankie, In your normal release, where is the weight of the ball?

    • @francoislavoieofficial
      @francoislavoieofficial 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      I feel it down the middle and ring fingers. Pretty neutral.

    Been searching for some information on how to deal with some wrist issues. I dont want to take a lot of time off. Im taking off a 2 weeks and hoping it helps to heal up.

    What would a tucked pinky do in each of these hand releases?

  • @rr2418
    @rr2418 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

    When i compared all three releases, I noticed that Lavoie's normal and forward roll release were the same. However, it did seem that his hand turned clockwise on the forward roll release. So maybe that is the difference.

    Frankie, does the index and pinkie finger positions (i.e. closed, tucked, spread out, etc.) affect how you decide to rotate the ball?

    • @francoislavoieofficial
      @francoislavoieofficial 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      All those adjustments change where the weight of the ball is on your hand, so yes it can affect your ball roll.

    I feel like I've playing it wrong this whole time, I'll implement this next year when I return, once I have most the balls plugged and redrilled, plus drill up some new balls Physix Blackout, Road Warrior, Clear white spare ball with the HEX core.

    question for the 2 handers/one hand thumbless when releasing the ball do yall flick your fingers up?

    Frankie, how do you bowl so straight and well every year at the NM open, lanes HOOK, i havent seen any high rev players place in that tournament.

    Rotational change versus ball change versus angle change: Frankie is right to keep things simple, but even with these three categories, it can get confusing. What are some ways a bowler can make practical decisions here?

    So are you feeling your normal release off your ring finger?

    • @francoislavoieofficial
      @francoislavoieofficial 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +9

      Sort of. To keep it simple, normal release is on the middle and ring fingers. More towards the index is more forward, and more towards the pinky is more rotation.

    To be honest the roll of the ball in both zero step exercises is completely different as to when he does a full approach

    • @francoislavoieofficial
      @francoislavoieofficial 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's normal. Isolating the release makes it a lot easier to work on certain feels. Exaggerating the feel in the drills will lead to small improvements in your full approach shots over time.
