I agree with your summation of the trailer loading. I have never had problems with teaching my yearlings to load, simply by letting them go slowly, leading in front so they can see its safe, first one hoof, then backing off and having a break, then 2 hooves, then backing off and having a break etc. They all learn without any stress, and they all load perfectly calmly after a few days of 10 minutes training each day.
Unfortunately, I've seen many practitioners of the "circle them, make them work hard outside the trailer and send them in" school of thought. All men. The horses are stressed, sweating, exhausted, they load reluctantly and only because the other option is so tiring, and they never learn to load calmly and willingly. That's not the mind set I want in a horse, sorry Clinton A and all similar dominating types

I have learned, unfortunately, that majority of the time, the words “certified” and “trainer” don’t always equal qualified & competent 😔

Great to hear Kings Mom! Thanks for the input on the liberty with Zor. I'll work on showing more of that and with different horses.

@@TaoofHorsemanship I could watch ANY video on this channel and find so much to take away. I love listening to you speak because you are so comprehensive & thorough. You really do cover so much more than many of the channels on YT.

I love your videos! They have been so helpful for me in starting an almost 3 yr old little paint filly I took on from an abandonment case. My background is as an exercise rider on the track. This is my first time starting a young horse who is not a thoroughbred. Your videos have been a huge help. Would love to hear your ideas on how to help with fidgeting when mounting. Thank you for your amazing videos!

I would love to see how you would handle a barn sour horse. Mine refuses to leave the arena. Which is attached to the barn. The trainer has me doing tight circles and kicking her til she goes.

This was SO GOOD ! Very helpful. I have changed my lens and am more observant when he starts to tense up.Now we stop and as he calms down we walk a little closer to the object until now he automatically will go up to it and smell it IF i just give him a little time.
