I was a smoker from age 19 to age 36, which I switched to vapor. Then the nanny-minded bureaucrats of our government all but destroyed the vapor industry as a favor to pharmaceutical corporations, so I switched again -- this time to snuff. I've been using snuff as my primary source of nicotine since 2020, and it really is wonderful.
Great video, and I hope to see more.

    Hello.
I make my own snuff tobacco (pure, cured tobacco, not completely dry). I used to smoke cigarettes and even vape. Snuff tobacco does not make me tired, but it energizes me. Smoking used to make me very tired and I did not even like it, but I was addicted. Snuff tobacco is wonderful and it is almost like a hobby. Thanks for making this video! Wish you a very nice spring and summer that is ahead of us!

I'm a 55 year old sheffield man, when you mentioned wilson's snuff from sharrow (an area in sheffield) it opened my eyes and ears!
I'm a sheffield united fan aswell and our anthem includes the words "like a good pinch of snuff" in it. The miners and steelworkers of the area used it to help with breathing at work in bad conditions, the miners especially couldn't smoke because of the gas underground. Sheffield united's favourite song (our anthem) is called the greasy chip butty song, you can find it on the internet and youtube videos. I never knew snuff was taken in so many countries until just recently, thanks for helping me understand more about something that is ingrained in my local culture! 🖒

Great words. I have been taking Snuff since 1997 when I stopped smoking. Never stopped. J.H.Wilson Snuff is one I always purchase in bulk. Sad to know the Italian and Spanish snuff factories have closed. On health my uncle was a snuff taker and died few years back at 104. I inherited a few very old snuff jars with snuff still in them. It was devine. Mellowing since possibly the 1930s 40s.

Regarding german snuff you should get after some "Schmalzler" which is not mentholated.
Sadly the oldest snuffmaker (Bernard) closed down because of TPD3 regulation just recently (in may 2024). There were some small snuffmaker in our Pfalz-Region which also closed down production. So there is only Pöschl-production still working but they do some traditional Schmalzlers too (Perlesreuther and some other stuff.)

I snuffed for a couple years and it was overall an awesome experience. I had a lot of sir walter scotts snuffs but half of them would make me cough and get into my lungs. Got tired of making my face messy and making messes on the floor. Been using nicotine pouches for a year now and I find them to be extremely discrete, convenient and practical in comparison. But now I am planning on trying to quit those too and be nic free.

I have tried many but from my experience I can say that Friborg & Treyer are always the most classic and elegant tobaccos, still 3 packs forgotten in a drawer for 10 years. Then I really like Bernard's elaborate ones but it's a much softer and "pleasant" style, almost pimp, which aimed a lot on sweetness.

Since i have allergies and get seasonal sinus colds, im a bit iffy with this entering my nasal cavities. Then, entering my stomach to settle. I will probably do more research first. Just took a snuff of Ozona President. I hate to admit that I love nicotine and tobacco. The psychoactive buzz. The taste. The smell. I'm probably screwed because I also enjoy smoking pipe tobacco and cigars and I occasionally enjoy hookah and a cigarette every now and then. But I genuinely feel like nicotine and tobacco are what keep me from going apeshit nuts. I've got a lot of health problems, both mental and physical-I hate to admit-and nicotine vaping and the taste of a good cigar or the scent of a beautiful dry snuff feels like what keeps me (relatively) sane.
