Hi! I'm so happy I've found your video. I'm having the same problem you did. I got the P07A5 code and couldn't change gears to 'S'. I did the ground mod previously, everything still seems all right around bolts. 08:59 so this is what I should aim for now - changing transmission fluid. Is it drain the old one, fill with a new one and that's it? Or does it require some cleaning inside?
Thank you, I appreciate that! Changing the transmission oil didn't make a difference but still glad I changed it. I removed the shift actuators and cleaned and lubed the ports to the transmission shafts with a penetrating lube and it ran great for 5 days and check engine light went off and then came back on and had the same issue. Since then I have replaced both shift actuators and fingers 🤞, it has been good. Slight studder at low speed but overall good.
@@wickedrepairs8527 I see. My car is "17 with 70k miles so I just hope cleaning forks/actuators will be enough for it. Question though, did you remove the whole transmission, opened it, took out clutch, actuators etc. and then cleaned them or did you do it all from outside? I think the second option what work better in the long term.

I’m new to this car can you please tell me what that red square light means in between the fuel and the water so sorry I don’t know the specific words for it but it blinks on and off and when the car is off is red looks like an exclamation point in the middle please and thank you.
Thats the infotainment system check I believe. I never noticed if mine has an exclamation mark there. If it does, it may mean you have some type of issue, or it could be there just as a self diagnostic check. Any check engine lights? Best bet would be to connect it to a scanner and see if there are any stored codes or historic codes that need to be cleared.
This is typically related to this issue in the video. Stuck actuator or stuck shift fork issue. I would recommend to replace the clutch actuators and clean the ports and lube them with WD40. I got clutch actuators from Amazon.
The cheapest and easiest thing to do yourself is to replace both the lower and upper shift actuators. I would clean and lube the ports to the transmission shafts when the actuators are removed for replacing. I bought both actuators on Amazon for cheaper than 1 through Ford.
