Hello, given through that format has changed. The government said it won’t exceed year 8 level, I’m currently in year 7 and a private school, should I do the practise tests on the government websites and are they close to the tests that are in the new one since NR has been replaced with quantitative reasoning, should I practise from the old test papers in the govt website even though the format has changed I saw your other vids that the topics are the same but some questions have changed, so should I practise the government practise tests?
do you have an idea of the maximum amount of students to be taken in who are sitting the selective test for year 10 and could you recommend me some ways of improving my numerical reasoning please?
Given that the format has changed for Maths and NR, what topics would you recommend I learn for each test, specifically maths. Especially since the government has said that the content won’t exceed year 8 level.
Nice video. Can you do a video for tips for the grade 10 selective school exam
They have changed the writing and now it is two essays(1 narrative and 1 persuasive) in 40 minutes
3:04 It's two writing tests, not one anymore. Plus it's 40 mins total (20 mins each to write each test - creative or persuasive)
Wait so it is possible to get 2 creatives?
@@titaniumfn no it's creative and persuasive srry my bad
@@BigDaddyB46290 alr thanks
How do you know for sure?
Epic vid…do you have any tips for jmss exam (yr 10 entrance) (like I’m in yr 9 sitting the test this year)
The exam difficulty is the same for all year levels btw so don’t panic if u cannot make it in for the first time
so year 10 difficulty is the same as the year 9 exam
@@StreamSnipStudiosyes

Even though it has changed, the topics will be mostly the same so I recommend you check out the full list of topics from my 1st video
Is averaging 40-50 and 50-60 good scores for the practice tests?
I heard you should aim for superiors, which are i think 90-100
@@berrieessthere are only 60 questions though
Nice video. By the way, do we actually know anything about the new exam structure?
nah
i mean hendersons assumed its two writings in 40 mins
@@aishanim1918 Hi do you have any online hendersons papers/tests that i can use, it would really help as i am trying to get in mhs
@@titaniumfndid u gte in?
@@itscxconah selective is rigged. Im doing john monash this year though
I’m applying for year 10 and on the maths exam can you give an overview what subjects will be included in the test and what I should study
u should try to also get a tutor
Do you get working out paper for the maths and nr one?
Yes, I am pretty sure you get working out paper
im sitting this test this yr and im not sure how long i should study
Just start with an hour every couple of days and add more time as the exam gets closer
How much time do you receive in each of the tests?
30 for nr, vr, maths and rc and 20 each for both pieces for writing
@@ViralMomemtToday rc is actually 35 minutes now and writing is 40 for 2 essays so you have to manage your time
Also I js sent through a form pls check it
