I came across Lisa’s channel during Covid and was really impressed by her maturity and resilience. Rather than positioning herself as a finance guru, she presented her videos from her personal perspective as someone overcoming hurdles to take care of her family, which I thought was very powerful, especially for the Singapore YT space. I do think she could grow her channel but understand the pragmatic need to stay in full-time employment. Going forward, I would love to watch her work with other Asian youths (maybe 16 to 25) in difficult financial/family situations to help them budget for their adulting goal e.g. if they wanted to move out of their home, pay off student loan, etc, like our local version of Ramit Sethi. As she said, the emotional and mental discipline of it, rather than investing.
It's the year 2024 & u guys are so superficial to claim that Lisa's success is attributed to her voice....like wtf 🤦♂....if the topics are good & they are relatable, ppl will watch....Lisa even said it herself for certain niche topics, she didnt get alot of views as compared to the rest of her videos Even for Kelvin, my friends ask me how come he looks like a clown, but to me, he offers solid personal financial advice & is funny af & entertaining lol
Nobbad, i think there's an increasing number of young ppl able to afford a HDB or property. I also just bought a new condo around 500k too at 22 years old without any joint name.
