I cannot wait for volume three! I have read both of the previous volumes-- every foot note! It was an amazing journey for me. I cannot look at the world the same way. Thank you so much for all of your hard work! Please know that it is appreciated!

You will love volume 3. Dean and Russ are working overtime. It still amazes me that 2,500 pages of work by these men including much research from Rod Meldrum is being realized in our day.

Since we have no eyewitness accounts of what Jesus said, we only have a general idea of what he probably taught.
The general principles of peace are admirable.
The "every knee shall bend, every tongue confess..." ideas are absurd, and betray the idea that Jesus was about love.
Worship me or burn forever, is not love.

No general idea in my opinion. I know through faith and testimony of what My Savior said and taught.

Where does Christ teach burning forever if we don't bend the knee and confess?

Dude I see you on a bunch of the LDS channels. Why? If you say you don’t believe why are you here? I don’t go to all the Taoists and refute the concept of no-mind to them.

@@kz6fittycent It's something I care about, having been LDS.
Furthermore, though you may not directly rebut other faiths, your church sends out thousands of recruiters globally to do so. So it's rather strange to object to being treated the same as your church treats others.

Having served a mission, I didn't go around telling people that their faith in Christ was false, or that Christ's teachings were false (as you stated in your original comment). Teaching correct doctrines and working within their current beliefs was the optimum method conducive to their receiving a witness of the truth from the Holy Ghost.
Also, having been on the outside of the Church previous to my mission, I was never treated the way that you are treating those still within the Church. Not once. Please repent and find your faith in Christ. He will be returning soon; you can count on that.

Catholics where not the first christians. Catholicism is a forth century "creation" there where many "flavors" of christianism that didn't "make it", other than that this is a great talk.

You misunderstand Russ I think. Who was the first Christian? Christ as premortal Spirit? Adam who was baptized or Noah or even the Earth itself which was baptized. Was Helem baptized by Alma in 146 BC the first Christian? How about Christ Himself who was baptized by John? Of the modern day churches indeed Catholic's claim to be first, even though I agree with you they had no Priesthood authority to be the actual first Christians, but they claimed to be. Russ knows all of this as well as I do, so I fully comprehend what Russ was meaning in his wonderful talk.
