Arbour Hotel, Pattaya Thailand, perhaps the best designed hotel in Pattaya. Luxury off Soi Buakhao.

Outstanding place! Yesterday I had a look and a chat with the very nice and helpful reception lady Patt.
Monthly rates are 46k and 48k (2 room types), all included as it's a hotel.
Not really budget but worthwhile for those who want and can afford it!
Thanks for your review Daz, what a coincidence....having been there just yesterday evening. I confirm your positive impressions.

Though I wouldn't stay there, I most definitely would head up to that restaurant on the 23rd floor and order a dish off that menu, as you were flipping through it, those menu items looked great and for a special occasion, like maybe a last night in town before flying back home the next day, the restaurant would make a memorable going away dinner with that tremendous view.

I saw it when I was there super nice rooms and hotel however the fridge was super small so the kitchen area is very basic if u plan to store food and do your own cooking. I found the place to be a bit further off so you’d have to walk a lot more and you can get roughly the same price hotels on beach road. Pattaya discovery beach was a good one. No kitchen but price was the same or less and rooms we’re excellent.

Good review...... though I would say I'm already a fan of the hotel having stayed there in September, however its encouraging to see a good place get a review. Maybe not the best location as per in the city as its a little way from the front and by a conflux of busy roads, but that would be the only downside. Arriving from Bangkok, there was valet service for our car ( nice service to have) reception very helpful and friendly, waiting time to be booked in was fair, though the lounge and welcoming soft drink was nice ( some honey flavor) . The rooms as you can see are exceptionally new and clean, with good facilities, even the TV was of a known brand and new , with a good selection of channels ( even EPL football) make that as a big bonus. Bathroom of fair size with yes a bath and separate shower, plus a toilet which you can close the door on separately ( nice if you like your privacy when doing natures bidding).
The bed very comfortable, balcony private which is a welcome bonus, and a sofa, which in a smaller room is a nice touch, again comfortable. the facilities of the hotel were good, the roof top pool is of a relaxing design rather than for swimming lengths, plus plenty of place to sit around and take in the excellent views. the roof top can get busy in the evenings, where it seem to be a popular place for the hip and young trendy crowd. Its a selfie heaven, so any people who love their photo taken it a great venue. The rest rooms on the floor below the swimming pool are clean and well managed, there is a small sauna ( for 2) in both mens and ladies rest rooms, it take a littlele warming up from cold so give it a good 15 to 20 minutes warm up time, though lovely when hot, it has a small shower next to it.
There is also a well equipped fitness room, plus a massage parlor next to the rest rooms. However the real delight is the dining room, set over several levels with great views out of the floor to ceiling windows, the food range is fair and of 4* quality ( I'd book a meal here if you want to impress someone special)... the breakfast room is adjacent to the dinning room and has a large central island with a wide selection of your normal breakfast requirements, you can also order hot foot too.... some nice options and don't rush.... Its not an over priced 4* and very reasonable , yes your pay a little more, though its worth every extra baht... as with any hotel the staff can make of break a visit.... these at the Arbour, are friendly, helpful, polite and a credit to themselves and the hotel.
It would be my default stay in Pattaya for a weekend or a few days longer.

Can you see also what hotels are guest friendly or what places charge to bring guest? Love the vids. My bro and I are going next year and I’ve been referring your vids to him so we can plan on where to stay. Thank you for taking the time doing stuff like this.

Pretty much all hotels are guest friendly. Just book 2 for a room when only you in the room. Only ones that are not guest friendly will be the high end hotels that may ask for a fee. All on EP Channel will be guest friendly.

They allow "friends" but because it is a 4/5 star hotel they charge a high fee of 1000 baht,
This only happens with 4/5 star hotels, all the others are free.

Great hotel for the money. Hotel Amber is another one a bit cheaper, I've heard a lot of talk about that hotel too.

Really nice…I was impressed when you closed the door to the balcony, you couldn’t hear any of the street noise below.
As someone who has never been there yet, how close is this to the beach, bars, and clubs?

You should do more long stay condo reviews instead of hotels. Just my opinion, but I think choosing a hotel is pretty easy for a two week holiday. Most of them would check all your boxes. Choosing a condo to live for 12 months is a fair amount of work. You should do a multi part vlog on your top three condos in each area of Pattaya... North, Central, South, Darkside, and Jomtien for an expat wanting to stay long term. I would think your opinion would be pretty valuable.

Impossible to choose only 3 condos, there are scores of them

    • @4WDJeepDriver
      @4WDJeepDriver 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@CheekyMonkey007 You could rank them for
      Noise
      Location
      Food
      Price
      View
      Amenities (Gym, Pool, Laundry)
      Maybe some objective WOW factor.
      then score them accordingly. Easy...Peasy.
