    I felt my stomach sink when I locked the doors and didn't hear the music only to be greeted with a new hole made next to a broken table and the record player. The one spot I felt relieved was no longer safe.

      Monster can't use the hole but it still sucks because the nice peaceful music isn't there anymore. :(

    While The Bunker's main attraction is the horror aspect, I also want to give credit to its music. You might not notice it, but the bunker's soundtrack has a real effect on how you feel while playing the game. Not only is the saferoom well, the only SAFE room in the entire game, this music subconsciously gives your brain the "you're safe and ok" signal because nowhere outside of that room is the music so soothing nor does it play. As soon as it goes away, the feeling of comfort immediately vanishes, and then you notice a certain piece of the wall missing and a gramophone on the floor in front of it. Your safety dies in the literal sense as the music player is left eerily in front of the hole making it not so safe.

    The moment i clicked the door and the lamp and that music started playing, that's when I knew that i was gonna play a survival horror game.

    The theme is low key horrifying, it makes me think that although you are “safe”, if you don’t make an effort to escape, it will be your grave regardless of whether the monster gets you or not.

      Yeah, it's like in the RE old games. The save room made you feel safe, but it still reminded you that it is a safe place because everything else around you is horrible, and that you need to escape.

    I really love this soundtrack when I played demo of Amnesia The Bunker. It's something what gives me terrifying feeling, but at the same time it want to give some calm moment to take a breath. I can't wait to see the full game even if I'm not sure if I will be able to beat it. Still after all of Frictional Games runs I still have doubts in their new games if I will be able to beat it, but the time will tell.

    Really good theme , hope for more with the full game . I also find it strange how it stops , i think if you loocked in all the doors it will play again . So it acts as a hint that tells you only then you are trully safe in there .

    I’m not sure if it’s a glitch but has anyone else seen the monster creating new holes before?
    During a play through I caused a diversion to get the monster to show itself from another section of the bunker.
    I quickly but quietly got a head start and escaped to the center part of the bunker before the grenade explode.
    Suddenly as I was just 20 foot steps from returning to the safe room all the lights started flickering like crazy.
    It was almost as if the Beast was in the same area I was in despite originally showing itself in the down stairs area 5 seconds ago.
    I was in denial however just 4 foot steps to entering the safe room I saw the Beast.
    It looked like he was just simply sitting down as if he was waiting patiently while he was right next to the exit barricade.
    I Fucking froze up as he started walking on 2s closer to the blocked exit, I *NEVER* seen him do that before aside from the final confrontation towards the very end of the game.
    And after 3 seconds of being completely horrified I snapped out of it and went straight to the safe room.
    As I locked the metal door he then noticed and began to scream but then suddenly made another noise that indicated he lost all interest and fucked off.
    About 1min later of refilling the generator and making sure I have plenty of weapons with me I went to check the the block exit and as I looked at the bottom left there was a new hole.
    That hole was *RIGHT NEXT TO THE FUCKING BARRICADED EXIT!!!!* and I know damn well that was never there during previous times I beaten the game until now.

      Since Halloween Update, "Increased Stalker Unpredictability" setting is active on repeat playthroughs. Can be toggled before the game starts. He makes a new hole right next to the safe room. Very fun!

      Yes it can. On lower difficulties, it's like a mega low chance, but on higher ones like shellshock or with the Beast's unpredictability setting cranked up it is **very** possible.

    What do you mean "safe room" ? Have you forgot that the Beast makes a hole to reach that room after you picked up the Dynamite ?

      It's literally the safe room. He can't even spawn from the hole. You're measuring the last 5 minutes of the game against the prior 4 hours lol, don't be pedantic.

      @@RamenLlama It wasn't my attention bro, sorry about that ! I still wanted to point out that the monster can spawn in the "safe room", my last playthrough can attest of that and how I felt betrayed by the game when I thought that nothing could harm me in that room :(
      Last 5 mins : depends on if you recovered the trigger before the dynamite and if, unlike me, you don't get lost on the way xD
      That being said, the 1 hour-long video is appreciated bro

      @@RamenLlama Block the holes in the main bunker, that will prevent him from going out of those. When he's blocked, he'll try the nearest hole that is available until he finds one that isn't blocked. In my case, I had blocked all holes of the main Bunker and not the saferoom's. That makes the generator room, virtually, the safest room of the entire bunker since there are no holes there. Also explains why the generator room's door is made out of metal and can be locked O.o

      He CAN spawn in a safe room? I thought it was a somewhat "fake" hole like when a beast pulls the injured Soldier back, because if you look close enough you can actually see that the hole doesn't have a way (technically, because it pulls him up). Wow...
      That's actually a really nice detail and a good kick under player's asses not to hang around before almost completing a game, heh.
