    Had an i-phone 5c for 7 years until it would not update anymore. I camp and travel and have always wanted a device that could last and is rugged. Maybe a bit heavy for my needs but it is a good phone. Thanks.

      Yeah this is a heavy beast but definitely good for those camping trips - even if you just use it as a lantern, radio and powerbank, it's a pretty cool phone

    The Doogee S100 Pro powered by Mediatek seems like the perfect companion for outdoor adventures. The walkie-talkie feature is such a cool addition, allowing easy communication in remote areas.

      The S100 Pro doesn't have a walkie-talkie feature. The older original S80 does.

    Hello mate. I bought a doogee s100 pro and put my voxi sim in. Everything works fine until you update the phone and then restart it. When you do that it comes up with "com.android.phone has stopped working" and then restarts itself constantly until it puts itself into recovery mode and makes you do a factory reset. Can you help me with this problem at all? Ive tried tweaking all sorts of settings following youtube videos etc. Clearing phone app cache, changing network time and date, clearing sim tool kit cache. Still no joy. Is it because its a voxi sim (vodafone) or is it something else? Any help you can give me mate will be greatly appreciated

      Hi, sounds very strange. Does it still happen if you take out the SIM? It sounds like it might be faulty otherwise. Where did you buy the phone from?

    • @tonybell4977

      Hiya mate. Bought the phone from doogee through ebay. I've tried our lasses sim card in it (giffgaff) and it works no bother at all. Ive also read somewhere since I messaged u that Vodafone doesn't work in chinese phones such as doogee, unihertz, ulefone etc. Anyways mate yeah it works no problem with the sim out, however I use this sim in my Samsung s10 day in day out with no issues whatsoever I'm even using it now. So I've ordered myself a giffgaff sim and I'll just port my number over I think. Thankyou for getting back to me I appreciate it mate 👍

      @AndroidAddicts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting I haven't heard that but I shall be sure to try a Vodafone SIM on the next Doogee device I get then 👍 I wonder if it's because Vodafone SIMs always try and download some additional software when they get detected. I think it's called "My Vodafone"...

      It could be mate I've no idea like. Ive put a smarty sim in it now and it works great 👍

    You said this is a 4g phone. But is it a 5g phone too ? Can this phone work with a 5g sim card as well ? Or not ?

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If your SIM supports 5G it'll still work in this phone but the maximum speed will be 4G. The CPU of the phone only supports 4G connections but SIMs are backwards-compatible so work at slower speeds if needed.
      For example, if you put a 5G SIM in a 3G phone it'll still work - but only at 3G.

    • @discoontour

      When I take a video it's like a black and white video filter.

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  ปีที่แล้ว

      It sounds like you're on night mode with the video? It might be worth trying to reset the Camera app settings - go into the phone's Settings, go to Apps and then find Camera. Find the storage for it and then clear it and try using the app again
