This video gives a few tips on the steering wheel cover made specifically for the tundra. Tips on how to tuck the leather and I show the final outcome of my install
You'll nail it. Just a heads up, put the double sided tape at the top of the horn area. The leather isn't long enough to tuck in far enough to hold in there. With the double sided tape pushed into the area where you tuck the leather, this will help keep the little bit they give you to tuck stay put.
Yes for sure. It really wasn't bad doing the stitching with the wheel on. I personally think the time and hassle of removing the steering wheel would increase the overall time. Disconnecting the battery and air bag plus getting a steering wheel puller, too much time and hassle.
Look in Amazon or Ebay. The brand is Loncky. They have a few for my car (Subaru WRX); full leather, or half leather, half alcantara, or full alcantara.
You can remove the center horn/air bag and then can remove the side pieces to get it tucked easier
Great video. Thanks for the tip 🤙
can u post the link where you bought it from?
Just ordered mine today, wish me luck.

Do you think doing it this way kept it in place nicer to stich it vs taking the wheel apart?

Did you feel like you needed more material to tuck in by the airbag on the top? I feel I don’t have enough material and it won’t stay. Any tips?
What did you end up doing mine seems a bit short as well
Great job in getting it installed. How much work time (excluding patience breaks) did it take you?
Couple hours and you are correct a few patient breaks were in order.
Looks awesome
Looks aw, great job!!!

How long did it take over all?
About hour and a half.

How do you figure?
I know its 3 years ago. But did you take off the existing leather or just put this over it? 3 years later, how is the wear?
It's holding up great and I didn't take off the existing.
