You’re welcome!!
OMG thank you so much for this! I don't wear necklaces but I do have a lot of glasses chain and they always tangle around like this. I never thought of separating them like that. Thanks again✨
Glad I could help!
Baby powder also helps the chains to have more slip and not catch on each other
Had a teacher in high school who freaqutly fidgeted with her necklaces tangling them in the process, and after a while, I became her go-to guy to fix them because I learned this method after years of doing the same thing.
Yes I figured that out years ago, I have been using sewing needs!
Smart
I figured this one out on my own years ago with safety pins! So cool to know I was doing one thing in my life right.. 😂😢
💎💎
This was the most helpful thing ever!❤
Thank you!
My mom used to pay me 5 bucks to untangle all of her necklaces. It certainly kept me occupied lol.
😂😂
I love untangling chains. When im bored I take my "cosplay" jewelry and deliberately tangle it for fun
same…
If the knot is particularly tight you can use corn starch aka corn flour to lubricate the knot, then it will come loose easily.
I’ve been doing that for yrs for my family. I was always the patient one whom would untangle all their jewelry! I always found it soothing. & I did it just like that only I used the safety pins like you mentioned.☺️
I’m 66 and I’ve never seen this done! Thank you so much!!❤
Fantastic! I have always committed to getting any amount/configuration of chains untangled. Hours, I tell you. Now, I'm going to use your method and amaze the masses!
I currently working in a hair/accessories store called Icing (a sister store of Claire's) and I enjoy spending meticulous minutes to possibly hours, if the store is dead, untangling necklaces I find around my store when I'm bored out of my mind
💎👍👍
All this time I've been struggling with this for years thanks so much for this advice 😅😁
You’re welcome!👍
Thank you so much!!!!! It really saved me from stress. i was able to untangled it in less than a minute.
I tried this method a couple years ago and it works like a charm.😊
I was taught this 40 years ago by a jeweler friend, but he recommended using two pencils, as the carbon slightly lubricates everything as you're detangling. Works like a charm!
Omg the carbon trick is great!
A toothpick always does the trick for me. Great video!
I have a necklace that’s really special to me, and it got tangled about 8 months ago. Took me about 30 minutes to untangle it with the help of a freshly sharpened pencil and a thumbtack
Thank you sooo much
The neck piece that was tangled was completely precious to
OMG I'm so thank full to do ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much. After spending an hour trying to do this myself I found your video and achieved the impossible in a minute❤
Wow you can really find anything on the internet 😊I knew I couldn’t be there online with this problem thank you!
Little did I know I did this process right. 🤗
Half expected you to just melt them 😂
This is life changing!! Helped me detangle my extremely coiled thin platinum chain
Glad to help!
I've been doing this for years, only I used 2 fine point pens.

Yup. A jeweler showed me that years ago.
Unfortunately my family doesn't believe and insists on still struggling the old way.
I'm really good at untangling necklaces and headphones but I'll definitely have to try this next time
👍👍
Your account should be so much bigger for this video alone 😂❤
Maybe one day 😁
THANK YOU!!
I saw a hack once that worked equally well...just rubbing the balled chains on a bed or your leg or a cushion...I was amazed how well that worked :D
🫨
I always use baby powder on where I would lay the tangled jewelries and move them around first and use ends of pens😆been doing this for decades 😊
Great tip!

Glad it was helpful!
That is the exact method I use!
Hey thank you❤️
Yeah I’ve untangled chains many times. While I can do them in my hand when holding a certain way I have had them bad to wear I set them down and used a sewing needle. Just can naturally to me to do this. It’s crazy how so many people can use their brain to properly problem solve
Wow thank u)) I have around 6, just laying there in box😅 gonna do it now
Have fun!
@@zachemighjewelry it worked❤️❤️❤️ I can’t believe it! I used two large needles 🪡 thank you so much)))
TYSM
Thas so CRAZY IT WORKED? Like I just picked it it didnt even make any sense and somehow it detangled???? I used my earings for this it workedd
Thanks
I always ask my dad! Coincidently, this is his method. 😊
That's what I am doing. It works
Omg thank you. I used earrings to do it
It works ❤
Thank u i was getting so desperatee
I found these techniques to work also but when I have a tight knot that I can't get the safety pin or straight pin into in order to break it apart, I put a little drop of cooking oil or liquid soap on the knot and rub it in. It will lubricate the knot and loosen it enough to get the pin point in.
Smart
Oh Lord I’d never treat my chains like that.
I have often use tooth picks 😂
Imagine a 0.1 mm rolo link tangled lol 😂
Thank you it work 🎉
You're welcome!
Terrific advice…love you site, I just subscribed 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
👍👍👍
Yup i was taught that as a kid
💯
Yes this IS the only way. But no lie i once left a very tangled fine gold chain on my table to do later....a few days passed. IT had untangled !.an impossibility i know....but it happened!
Thanks,i just untangled it😅

😂😂😂👍
Tame Impala 👍🏼
💯
And what about necklaces that are one loop with no opening option? My mum has a lot of long entangled necklaces that are so long they don't need sth to open or close
It'll work with those too. Just be patient..
Lordddd
I will never buy a necklace this size again. It gets tangled on the diamond pendant daily!
Reasons to have different boxes for them
Smart!!
I've done all of that and it's still tangled up completely it was a birthday present from my boyfriend amd I still can't wear it so upset
Try putting a drop of cooking oil or dish soap on the knot. It'll help lubricate the chain and loosen the knot..
@@patpeters6331 I took it to a jeweller for £5 he's untangled it for me but still not the point the necklace was completely tangled up and there wasn't just one knot there were like like separate knots
its a fkin ball
i just rub the mass till it gets loose and untangle .. it’s fun
🙌
I just blow on them and it untangles basically by itself
You must be magic🔥🔥
I just use my teeth😂😂😂
I use tooth picks
That works!
