We installed the first ceiling cassette in our LG mini-split HVAC system. This video is a quick update of how we hung it from the ceiling. More to come later!
Yes, the attic is conditioned so they'll be accessible. It might be a little tight though, so if they need to be replaced someday it will have to be Sharon's job. :)
Yes, we ran them toward a single drain in the mechanical room and tee'd them together in the ceiling where it made sense. Just make sure you keep the minimum slope suggested by the manual.
Hopefully you have attic access afterward. These units are great, but usually a lifespan of about 10-15 yrs.

How did you run all of your drains? Did you run them all together with pvc and out one area?

@@BuildItLikeBeckhams awesome! Thank you!
Any ductwork?
Not for the mini-split system but yes for the HRV.
Hi. I'm installing the same lg cassette. But I can't find the hanging bolt inside the package. Did you purchase it separately?
Yes, we had to order the hanging bolts, washer, and nuts separately. Good luck!
Don't like having that condensate drainage in the Attic. I would rather have it on the wall and use a mini duct.
LG A/C = Garbage
Good Brand And Makes Bad Units
