@@littlenige Seen your post on BoatMad back in 2016 and having seen her racing as 400 with the gas turbine on the CTC, it's criminal that she was even allowed to get to the state she was in. Lovely seeing these 3 together mind. Well remember the originals with Carlo Bonomi, Don Shead and Betty Cook. Those were the days !!!
Yes and no - the Kaama 36 was a leisure version, used to recreate a tribute to the original - hence the non staggered configuration. The Planatec hull is indeed the original.
Awesome.
there was a Miss Embassy as well, remember seeing it when i was a kid
Indeed. Last I knew she was still under the rock of Gibraltar.

I’ve always adored Dry Martini, but Kaama is giving her a close run. Just such beautiful boats. Thanks for the video
Couldn’t agree more. I saw Kaama close up a couple of years ago and WOW she’s beautiful
Old school cool !!
Probably the 2 coolest boats ever built still running strong. Dry martini cigarette flat deck is so nice. That scarab is getting busy too.
These are two mid to late 70's old ocean girls that have been fixed up, tuned up, possibly re-powered and still have some speed in 'em.

Good old racing days
Pure pleasure!
I'm thinking that ram air funnel isn't drawing in enough air to make up for its drag coefficient. 😰
