China may be ruled by one party, the CCP but its selection process for leaders is rigorous and robust. These public goods impact lives directly even in the provision of job opportunities that arise from employment creation sustained through economic growth facilitated by trade but people are unaware as they are skewed to the macro level. Overall, I think a number of political watchers will agree that despite the current trade difficulties and foreign policy tensions, China's time has come and its on an ascendant rise with newfound strengths in technology and innovation and enjoys continued confidence in its market economy underpinned by social stability safeguarded through a strong military.
