That sounds great! The people in my country are kind of poor in the heart, because they were educated from small on into being rude, arrogant, ignorant, unfriendly, mean and skeptical to each other, so they traumatise and weaken each other all day and and making each others live to hell. Further more they are poor in their heads, because all of their attitude that maks them not learn from each other as a consequence from the lack of connection to each other, they actually are afraid of their fellow people and hostility is a daily matter of fact. I am from China, and I have witnessed how economic condition can affect people's manners and morals. Everyone of my college roommate had had at least one cellphone stolen back in the early 2000s, now, Cell phones or laptops, I can leave them unattended when I have to leave for restroom for a short time period in public. People are not born hostile or wicked or crooked, it is the society that make them kind or bad. It is not the ideology either, it is the economic conditions that are deterministic in that matter.
Notwithstanding that it is the world most populous nation, but to the CPC-lead government, it is a case of “悠悠万事,民生为大”. Or of the emphatically large number of challenges faced by a government, the livelihood of the people comes first. In that regard, what China has accomplished over the last 4 decades is most compelling and awe-inspiring! It is indeed the new Gold Standard for the others to emulate. The Secretary-General of India China Economic and Cultural Council, Mohammed Saqib, had put it succinctly: “I think China’s poverty alleviation program is a model for everybody in the world. I mean they have really created wonders and they have done a wonderful job...They way they had strategised it, it was unique for the world, and their strategies had to be replicated, I think all over the world.”
The definition of absolute poverty doesn't mean poverty has been eliminated. People above that absolute poverty line are still very poor. This is IMF level propaganda. Lol
You know... if you watch the whole thing you’ll see that they say there’s still a long way to go. What they’re talking about is giving everyone access to running water, electricity, housing... it’s an incredible achievement
Keeping officials for an extended period at their post, will lead to stagnation and corruption. If they can't get the job done that they are required to do, within the elected party term, then they should be removed and sent to a lower post.
