I mean when you get used to his kit you can run between 12-15k healing as well as a fair amount of damage

Yeah I’ve been using him for 3 days now and my healing output has been around that number. Damage is around 2k. Not sure if that balances out well.. but been enjoying his kit nonetheless.

If people can just actually not run away from the tree, and not randomly step on the petal then he can work just fine. But people simply dont know how to play with a LW

I don’t like how sombra just gets rid of tree. That’s so busted especially since tree as an ultimate isn’t exactly the most busted thing out there.

Remove the flower from his back
Extra dash
Extra healing
Extra damage and a bigger amount of ammo
Then he might be viable

He does not need all this. Extra dash would be cool and double the mag size on his damage, but his healing is already REALLY good. Support mains already know this.

His healing is only good up to a certain skill point. While I enjoy playing LW, his healing is 65 per charged shot. While Ana does 70 and doesn’t need charging, Ana grenade is better than petal platform and sleep dart is better than life grip. Nano is better than tree and so on and so on with every other support hero. There isn’t many scenarios where he’s better. However, I have found that when dps and tank are dive comp on the right map he is very good.
I’ve also seen that his hit box is similar to roadhog apparently !
He is great fun to pick though and I love the life grip clutch moments for sure.

@@TheRageddavid utility value is entirely contextual though. Some comps/maps one utility will be better than others. Also depends on the skill level you’re playing at. There will always be situations that a specific character will be better at unless you are playing pure meta in high ranks.
