    Great history - didn't know that Rupert had started out in the Cougars (wondering now what that first recording was) or about the Inner Fire band in between COD and Messenjah. Btw Rupert once told me the "Ojiji" name was given to him as a youth by an African man, apparently from a Nigerian dialect and meaning "dignity"...

      Glad you enjoyed it, Rupert is great. The CA Reggae and overall Black Music scene is sort of a mystery to us on the outside so i knew Rupert would be the right one to shine light on it.

      @@GriotMareh A major revelation to me when I first found that Crack Of Dawn LP, even here in Canada we know very little of the history that took place around reggae and black music in this country...
