Big up Rupert, great history - always wondered about that Hawaiian connection with Messenjah when I first heard the Three Plus cover of Cool Operator. Huge reggae culture in Hawaii, so surreal in a way to turn on the radio or walk in a store there and hear reggae, just does not happen over here to that same extent. Will look forward to that Crack Of Dawn documentary, wicked and historic Canadian soul and funk band I first discovered in a thrift store find of their LP and noticed the reggae connection with some of the players (Glen Ricks/Ricketts on vocals who is a solo reggae singer now). They were the first black band signed to a major label in Canada and apparently outsold Earth, Wind & Fire up here. Cheers!

    3:51 -- HA!
More like we NEVER GET A CHANCE to snub Canadian-based acts.
They always somehow KEEP it all to THEMSELVES _(as far as Reggae is concerned, that is)._
