You’ve probably figured this out already, but the original color is much closer to the bright orange you first used. I bought a NOS gauge and when it arrived I was floored by how fluorescent the color was. Your process is great, and the second color is better than the yellow, but the original is much brighter. Love your content. Your camera work and editing is both instructional and compelling, and the VO really engages the viewer. Bravo.
Great video. Your editing is legit. I wish my videos could look this good. 😊. I’m going to paint my needs but I’d rather brush them on. I don’t trust myself with a spray paint.
Hi John..Good info in your video I am about remove and replace the steering lock on my 126 which I driven for 20 years. Did you have any issues removing your lock that I should careful of? Vac hoses? etc. I installed new tumbler so problem is likely with steering lock. If I park car with wheel turned to right, steering lock does not engage and I can remove key and restart. But hoping a new steering lock which I've ordered, will resolve the issue. Keep checking youtube - I may ask a question or I could fly you here to install it for me..🤣😉🤔
Hey guys, around the 9:08 mark you say “this little oil sender would definitely cause a problem if I started the car right now”. I actually did start the car at that point (with the oil sender still disconnected) and now it won’t start again (with everything re-connected). What do I need to do?

Every little bit helps to keep these old Mercedes alive. Great work. Any progress on the bending brake?
I’m working on it… slowly.
same thing can be applied for the 240D right?
