Just an FYI to all i was just at this exact spot at Crowley lake (9-22-23) with the intention of camping overnight and there is an obvious sign that says no overnight camping, nothing on the sign says “beyond this point” so we went to a nearby campground to stay the night just to play it safe. We did spend a few hours here and yes it’s amazing. Keep it clean out there.
I may be tripping then i thought I read beyond this point. Thanks for the heads up I’ll definitely have to go back and check but yes super awesome spot. Pack in and pack out brotha 100%

@@VOYAGERTACOMA Sometime take Hiway 120 back down instead of 395......comes out on hiway6 about a half hour from Bishop.....Hiway 6 is rarely driven....interesting drive
Looks like I'm sub 455. I'm looking to go to mammoth lakes in my VW golf and wing it. Never been up there and I'm in L.A. That road would probably be off limits to me. Makes me want to get a truck and ditch these city streets.

Yes brotha my Tacoma is lifted. So I got a package it came with kings 2.5 which adds 2” in the front and I have Dakar heavy load springs in the back which adds about 2.75” in the rear but that’s because I carry some weight in the back I don’t want It to sag. The wheels are Merhod 17” 701’s and tires are 33’s from Falken 285/70/17
