Mrs. Vickie, what an awesome recipe idea! Love it and will certainly make to keep on hand. I do can salsa but it goes quick (and I give it away!) so this will be great to have. Thanks for sharing and God Bless!
# 1 you are over 20 k, woohoo! That's wonderful! I love this salsa mix, it's a great one to have, especially with gardens coming on soon, Thank you for a other good one, this has been fun! Love you God Bless, xoxoxo
Oh my, this recipe looks so yummy! This would be great to have on hand to mix up in minutes for guests. I do love things hot/spicy, was raised on spicy hot foods. Can't wait to gather some of these supplies and make this myself. Loved this collab and hate to see it come to an end. You ladies are awesome! Hugs, Brenda
Well done Mrs. Vickie. Woo Hoo This solves a problem for me as I like mine hot and no one else does. I'm so gonna use this and adjust accordingly. Thank you for sharing your recipe. God Bless and be safe.
Vickie I’m sure going to try this my family loves salsas. Love watching you videos. Really enjoy the collaborations you ladies do. Thanks for being such good recipes. And keep up the good work on your diet it’s showing. God bless and keep you safe sweet lady.
Hehe, I love that. “I don’t make it if it doesn’t taste good.” 😉 That is what I love about homemade mixes. You can adjust it to your family’s tastes or dietary needs.
Thanks for this! It surely looks good and I'll be making this to add to the recipes that I've gotten through this collaboration. Love you ladies to pieces! Stay safe and healthy😊
Thank you for doing this. I may have missed the amount for the dehydrated chilis but as it looked about the same as the dehydrated jalapeno, I just wrote 2 T. Guess I'll find out when I use it if it was to strong or not strong enough, lol.
Hey sweet, think you could print recipe in description box below your video? Never did get amount of green Chile you added to salsa mix? Thanks keep up the great collab, I love you all💞
Hi Vickie, I am so happy that I Subscribed to your channel I actually found you through Whippoorwill Holler(I am in west Tennessee , not far from the town that Lori lives in Arkansas). I am looking forward to making this spice mix because we eat a lot of salsa! I wanted to tell you that I make zucchini chips in my air fryer but you can do them in the oven too ...there are lots of recipes on TH-cam for them ...I just slice zucchini with my mandoline super thin and it only takes a little bit of oil to coat them just toss them around in a bowl add a little seasoning per your taste preferences and then put them in a single layer and cook until they are golden brown on one side, flip and do other side, let them cool and it’s amazing how crisp they are so you could have those with your salsa for your keto diet! I know people do kale too but I’m not a huge fan. I just thought you might like to try so you’d have a crisp “chip” with your salsa😊 Looking forward to spending time watching all of your videos
I do love my Excalibur 9 tray, but I also have and older American Harvest round dehydrator with adjustable temperature that I used for years before I bought the Excalibur. It also works great!
WOOHOO 20K!! 🙌 🎉 CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 Vickie on passing 20k subs!! well done 👍🏻 This salsa mix looks awesome!! we eat a lot of salsa & it costs around $2.50 for a small jar...i'm going to try and find the vinegar powder etc. Is the citric acid really vital for this mix? re the freeze dried bell peppers if i can't get them or they're too expensive ( like thrive) i'll probably will just sauté some & freeze in batches? very handy video 👍🏻 ps. i ended up finding aussie garlic powder & granules on our kangaroo island 🧄 😀
Thank you dear friend! Yes, when you buy salsa, it is expensive, and this is better anyway. I don’t think the citric acid is vital. I think it gives it just a bit more acidic taste (along with the vinegar powder), but you can leave it out. I would use any kind of chili peppers you can find, and if you can dehydrate them, they will work great. If not, you can freeze small batches to use. I am so glad you found the garlic powder and granules. I use them in most things that I cook 🤗. Love you!

Love your videos! I am one of “unfortunates” in which cilantro tastes like soap so I will use parsley instead. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!
I need to find vinegar powder and lemon peel powder, awsome 😀
I’m not sure where you would find them in Australia. I have a couple of sources here, including Amazon.
Vickie's Country Home I found both items on eBay so yes I can try your spice mix 😊❤️👍
You look fabulous. The keto diet has been very helpful to me.

Do you have a link to the recipe I kinda got all mixed up with the measurements and especially where to tone down the heat.
I have added the ingredients to the description box. 🤗
Do you have a dehydrator that you are pleased with?
