Good deal on having your RV serviced. We just had ours done at Ring Caterpillar in Tampa Florida. They did a outstanding job to. We were very happy with them.

I can't believe they let you walk around inside the shop. I HIGHLY recommend using fully synthetic oil in EVERYTHING in your coach. Cost's a bit more but it's worth it. Looks like they did a great job and the price is fair, personally I would have paid a bit more for synthetic oil. Safe travels to you and your family.

I wonder if any class-A manufacturers put some kind of gate or doors in their units that prevent mechanics working on them from being able to enter the living area and rummage through your stuff.
I don't believe I have ever seen anything like that. It also wouldn't work on most Diesels because the engine is located in the rear of the coach. Great question though. Thanks for watching and Commenting.
Where are you getting your service and oil changes done now, 12/2022? Google for speedco and call, they answer as Loves truck stops, and say they can't do oil service on diesel pushers. Ideas?

Thanks Morgan. For our unit which is Cummins ISL 425 the recommended oil change interval is 20,000 miles. So at that point we would change oil & filter and also both fuel filters. The air filter and hydraulic filter have gauges that let you know when they need changed. And for good measures we also changed our air dryer filter.

Pedro, all you need is a regular drivers license to drive a motorhome:-) CDL's are intended for vehicles with commercial use, so unless you drive a motorhome for a living, you probably don’t need a CDL. There are a few exceptions though.
That service writer was asking what model engine not hp HP doesnt help parts man pull correct parts You need to tell them its a Cummins M 11 C or signature or cat c7 or what ever it is You should know how much oil it takes to get to low mark Then full mark Then refill capacity Best to pre fill your oil filter But be careful about filling fuel filters Contaminated containers can take out a fuel system
Great help , that being right in middle of RV country on I-40 should help lots of RV'ers , what was the bill if you dont mind me asking ? oil , filter, air , check fluids , add antifreeze it appeared 300-400 ? u took a chance Leaving that bike there , but it worked out , glad to c !
The cost of our service at Speedco was $363.54 this was for oil & filter both fuel filters, oil analysis, gallon of antifreeze , a gallon of windshield wiper fluid and tire inflation. I ask if the bike would be in the way before they started and they stated it would be no problem for them to get their work done so we did have to remove it. 15K seems like a long time to go for oil. BUT, I had a Cat C7 and the HUEI pumps need clean oil so I had to change it no more than 10K. We pick up our "new" 2010 Tiffin Allegro Bus 43GBP in a couple weeks. Is 15K miles and over 200 hrs before a gen oil change typical?...seems high on both.

This was our first service as we purchased the RV used. The RV had been serviced before by the previous owner. The service intervals for this coach is every 20k . We serviced it a little early so we could have a base mileage to work off of. Thanks for watching and commenting.

They ask for a key to hold your unit hostage until payment is made. My unit has no key, its Key~less. I also ask them for a copy of there insurance as they are told "NO employee or person can enter in to my RV for any reason". Doing so is a $550,000 fine as my wife is very. Allergic to colones & fragrance.. Entering in to our home we will no long be able to live in it until its cleaned of all fragrance have been removed. ( ADA ) That sends them in to a sorry we can not sign or agree in to the work you need done. You dont have to agree to it.. I have video inside should you enter.

Did you say you did the service on the generator 200 hours ago? The oil change interval for the generator is every 100 hours
