    The Ibom deep seaport is going to cause the economy of Akwa-Ibom to blow. Good one there.

    Lagos state has enough ports. Nigeria needs to diversify to other states.

      Talk about your state. Leave Lagos alone. Lagos State is responsible for attracting foreign investments for the construction of the Badagry port. It is not a federal government project.

      @@Patriotic-h2j IT is not regional bigotry. The federal government has to approve not just the state governments. Social services will decline in Lagos because of the large magnet it will cause of people moving to Lagos. I have seen the large slums of Lagos and maddening traffic. I know the monkeys at the Lekki Conservation center wonder what animal honks 24 hours a day. 😂 LOL!! With climate change Lagos is going underwater. The states should not be in competition. Just like you would not want all your blood at your heart. You need blood in the whole of the body to live, not just the heart. You will die.

    What will now happen with the apapa n tincan island ports because Lagos would now ve two deep sea ports..... from the look of things those 2 ports might end up being redundant

      Actually, we need more ports.

    • @User-sf2ni
      @User-sf2ni 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Redundancy of these ports is not the problem here. The real problem is our production capacity for export that is not matching up. If we were producing and exporting as we should, we might even need more ports.

    If Akwa Ibom state continues waiting for federal government to get this port constructed, it will wait for eternity. The state must face the construction for its actualisation, if not, Nigerian politics will not allow it to come to fruition.
