@@cjsawinski so ive never diven on a sim before so forgive me for asking a stupid question but, if its pinned for him then doesn't that mean all you have to do there in the same car would be learn to turn in at the right time and place?
@@abhineetgupta1491 setup bro plays a major role, if you’re driving this car with the baseline setup you can’t take turn one flat otherwise you will understeer to the grass

Max is becoming a qualifying beast in F1, because of his training on i-Racing as it seems! 💪

How tf did he take T1 flat out? I just tried it and didn’t even come close to making the corner. Is he running a set up or something?
It's in high-grip conditions (low track temp / low track state). Setup has been optimized for this track for sure too.
Also cars have changed multiple times since.
And he's actually lifting for a fraction of a second...
and then there is me, not able to get faster as 1:16 there :-)
Max's lap was on the old tire model and under perfect track temps, so this season's conditions make possible lap times roughly 1 sec slower than in this video.
@@p1nkp4nther still impressive, during last practice there was one with a 1.12 time which is still 4 seconds faster than my fastest time .. 4 seconds! :-) need more training :-)

After watching this video I tested it in iRacing, the car setup is for the person recording, which could be anyone. It doesn't show you the setup of the person you are spectating

Lol I thought I was quick with a 1:29.4 with the Porsche gt3. Those Formula cars have too much braking and acceleration for me to handle rn
