As a Disney adult who also isn't a huge fan of the Muppets, i would be very disappointed to see it go. If they remove Muppet vision 3D, it's not just losing the show. It's losing a huge piece of Jim Henson's legacy as well as film and theater history. Additionally, it performs just about as well as all of the other sit down shows like the carousel of progress and Mickey's Philharmagic.
Muppets is a cute show and was always a place to rest and cool off for us. We went this week in the oppressive Florida heat and I swear the AC didn't even feel like it was working in there.
Disney doesn’t have its magic anymore imo. I have gone my entire life and I always got excited. Now, as a pass holder, I don’t get excited like I used to. I know rides are going to be down, the park is going to be dirty, and attraction maintenance is going to be bad. I miss when Disney parks had life. It just feels like a shell of its former self.
I agree!! We just went on Frozen this past weekend and it was awful, more of the screens were messed up and animatronics weren’t working right. It was so disappointing and we bought LL just so that was one of the rides we could get on with low wait, that and Remy.
I felt the same way the last time I went. It was my boys' first time because I felt my oldest having his birthday there and my youngest was finally old enough was the time to do so. I felt like I was on my phone more than in the moment, but even then that Disney "magic" wasn't fully as well.
I'm not saying it wasn't fun, but the "magic" felt smaller because it felt like rush to make a ride vs enjoying being in the park. Muppets should stay. It's iconic and still so much fun!
I grew up with The Muppets. Kermit means more to me than Mickey Mouse. When I was on the College Program in 1993, I worked at MGM. Muppet Vision 3D is important to me. Jim Henson worked on it before he died. I would be very sad if it went away, but it really doesn't matter because I'll likely never go to Hollywood Studios again. Disney has changed so much, and I'd rather take my money to Universal. And $45 for Minnie Ears???? Wow, that's absolutely ridiculous
Every single change they made at Hollywood is for the worse. There is hardly anything to do there. If you aren't a big Star Wars fan then there is nothing to do. It is my least fav park.
star tours is the best star wars ride in the park. I hope it doesn't go away. It is so re ridable, it can be updated with new scenes, and it doesn't go down like rise.
After watching this - you can see it’s more busy by the muppets, animation courtyard was empty. It would be better for monstropolis to go to the courtyard ad a people eater! I LOVED the backlot tour. I miss MGM so much.
I don’t understand why they’d take things away from a park that needs more to do and has quite a bit of dead area - plus when they do take classic attractions away to make way for new, especially with more recent IP it chips away at the nostalgic feeling and character of the parks for those of us that have had the blessing to go over the years. Classic and newness need to exist together for success
AGREED!!!! YOU SSID IT PERFECTLY! I FEEL TGE SANE WAY. DISNEY HAD A WAY OF MAKING MAGIC AND CLASSICS ARE CLASSICS AND THEY NEED TO STAY. HO MAKE NEW RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS BUT DONT KILL THE CLASSICS. ITS ALL GONE NOW. I CANT EVER GO BACK. I MIGHT HAVE TO GO TO TOKYO. THEY GET WAKTS VISION.
Rightttt?! Its the 1st thing i ride and sprinkle in throughout the day cuz the waits have always been low. Maybe changing up the story or whatnot might refresh, or move it into the star wars area.
People have been saying for like 10 years that Hollywood Studios is in a terrible state and they have sat on their heels doing nothing about it. Also I hate the idea of a Monsters Inc "land". What do you mean "land"?? That's 1 property with 1 ride, for something that is just 2 films, the second of which wasn't even super popular. Not everything needs to be a land now.
Much like your thoughts about replacing Rivers of America with all due respect we can agree to disagree. I do understand your point about an attraction not being attended by a lot of guests and unfortunately it is a bottom line business I’m just of the opinion that you can build for the future but also pay tribute to the past. I just feel with detailed planning they could actually expand the current parks but also pay homage to the past like the Muppets. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but to believe it’s not an iconic and revered part of cinema lore and millions of childhoods is in tremendous error.
It seems that Disney’s new model is to remove everything that screams Disney to the public. This is one of the attractions that we visit all the time. Why? Because it allows you to rest for a bit. It’s cool in there, the seats are relatively comfortable, and I get some entertainment too. For years now, Disney has been removing attractions that allow for more park flow and then wonder why their parks are crowded (granted, not in this segment). Any time you have an attraction that is high capacity and low wait, it’s removing congestion from the park. It’s why Epcot can be so crowded, no more Universe of Energy. Removing legacy attractions because you see no lines is like removing the headlights of a car because the sun is shining. They are useful and help to address many of Disney’s problems. The biggest fallacy is that a long line equals a good attraction. The most fun I’ve ever had at Disney was being able to go to multiple parks in one day because the lines were short. It seems that no one gets it anymore. The long lines are a sign of an issue, not success. In the 90s and early 2000s, one or two attractions per park would have wait times over 30 minutes (off peak). By 2005, most attractions were over 30 minutes. Now, I have no inside information at all…but this is when Disney stopped using the paper FastPass system. It seems that they were better at tracking guests when it wasn’t completely digital and actual cast members were counting. Prior to 2001, FastPass wasn’t even necessary. We only started using it in 2003 and only for one or two attractions per day. We were able to ride everything else with little to no wait. We also park hopped constantly to get away from crowds and used the resort for downtime during the peak park activity. There was one year that we visited all four parks in one day and went to Disney Springs. It used to be commonplace. The one perk we never utilized was the water parks, never needed it when staying in a Disney resort. Every one had a themed pool. It seems to me that Disney’s problems are stemming from not being Disney anymore. They are slowly pushing out the parks that I grew to love and replacing them with things that are not as popular with the fan base. Stop trying to attract people that aren’t coming and focus on those that are. Stop trying to be first and focus on being the best. It seems that, in recent years, quality has gone out the window at Disney theme parks . Customer satisfaction is an afterthought. If you have the most advanced, state-of-the-art attractions and they are constantly breaking down…will people continue to pay the cost of admission? Will people keep coming if all you’re doing is construction? Why can’t these things be done at night like they used to? Why has Disney forsaken “magic” for dollars? In all my years going, I never felt like it was too expensive. I make a decent amount of money (six figures) and I will tell you, right now, Disney is too expensive for what you get. If they want to be back on top again, fix what you already have and make it the best. If you continue on this path of raise prices just because, you are going to loose lifelong customers like myself with deep pockets. Not the best business model.
They removed the "people eater" attractions that entertained masses of people- Back Lot Tour, Car Stunt Show, Osborne's Christmas Lights, The Great Movie Ride etc etc and now you are left wandering around aimlessly in the parks, waiting in line for mediocre replacements they came up with (Mickey and Minnie's Railway for one is mediocre). There was the cutest show in Hollywood in the 90s where frozen is now.....they took people from the audience and put them in famous scenes from TV shows- I Love Lucy, Cheers, All My Children. It was great fun. Even the American Idol show they replaced it with was better then the Frozen show.
I miss the original MGM Studios 😢 The backlot was awesome! I really miss the GMR. I think the Great Movie Ride should have been updated and not replaced with MMRR. It's sooo much better in Disneyland.
Hey Dev! I miss when it was called MGM studios too. I’m definitely looking forward to Monster Inc land and I think they should put at Animation Courtyard. Thank you for another awesome video.
I don’t know why Dev they don’t just expand the parks like they said they were going to this is not expansion. This is overlays. They have so much land and WDW that makes no sense whatsoever. There’s so many shows and things at Hollywood Studios. That are not open like you said the star tours show out front for the kids is not open the little mermaid shop next to little mermaid is not open so many things have let go in this is not the same anymore. They’ve lost their mojo. It is a terrible terrible place to go now we go to Universal only we used to be Disney 25 straight years but now we’re only going to universal
Our son was only 4 when we did the "Jedi Temple" back in 2019, and I'm so thankful we went to WDW then because Disney World now is no longer what it once was. That experience was so awesome, it was so much fun, and it was an "added value" type of experience Disney no longer offers to its guests. How sad. So is the whole degradation of what "MGM" once was. As for the Muppets, Disney is doing next to nothing with them and is an IP they have hardly "taken care of." Might as well sell Kermit back to the Henson Company if they decide to remove them from the park.
@@ahf5471 cause you had to be technical about it? I think everyone knew what I was referencing. Please, be respectful and not technical. Have an awesome day
I miss backlot. That made Hollywood Studios. It was the BEST! I couldn’t care less about Star Tours or Muppets 🤷♀️ bring back the classic MGM feeling mixed with some new things!
PCDev is 100% right- Disney needs an attraction and they need it now. When epic universe opens next year I guarantee you Disney will see a large decline in attendance & revenue at their parks. They are becoming stale
Here is my opinion: 1) Monstropolis should be at the Animation Courtyard. To me, if feels like a dead zone. 2) Expand the Star Wars stuff to the Muppet area. This way, you can move the Star Wars character meet & greet there. Yes, I do realize that it could reimagine the entire area to be more Star Wars themed, and I think I'd be okay with that. 3) If they don't need that massive parking lot, then convert a section of it to be a Disney channel themed area. That way, you can move the Disney Jr. dance party there, and you can add an attraction that involves the Descendants.
I think Indiana jones show should go away since Animal Kingdom is going to get a ride of it.. there are so many ideas I have for Hollywood Studios! I wish Disney never bought the rights for Star Wars. I think Star Wars should be their own theme park in my opinion. Anyways I’m not a fan of one IP themed area. I think that Hollywood Studios should have a Pixar land rather than a Toy Story land/Monster inc land. It would neat to see rides themed around the different Pixar movies. I think monsters inc would replace Muppets area, which I would be ok with. The only thing that would be odd is Star Wars Land would be in the middle between Monster inc and Toy Story Land. That’s why I wish Star Wars would be their own park like LegoLand but somewhere in Orlando or outside of the area. I visit the parks as often as I can, and I always think about the potential for Hollywood Studios. I would change everything about the park . I think it is not the way it should be. I would like to meet you in person sometime.
I can let things go, it's the lack of Disney's creativity for original attractions that bugs me. Of course each to their own, but I prefer that there needs to be a balance between IP and non IP to give the parks variety
I do not understand the feet dragging with Disney! They have got to know Epic Universe is going to be a blow out for at least the first year they are open! The hotels, the parks, the restaurants and shops will be packed to the gills! I love Disney and am confused at the lack of initiative! The lack of understanding their own business! Maybe they need to watch some of Walt’s personal movies? His joy is what greased the wheels at Disney! Monsters Inc. and Villains sounds good, but it needs to be in there NOW, not the next three years! I am planning on going to Epic Universe next year and I am looking forward to it. I’m with you Dev. I wish they would expand the parks. I guess it is less expensive to follow the route they planning. Oh well! Love your staycations vlogs! Keep up the good work!
Looks like it was a rollercoaster of a day! Glad you got the tire sorted and made it to Disney. I love how you’re out here solving Disney mysteries like Sherlock Holmes with Mickey ears! Thanks for always keeping us updated with the latest Disney news! Its great that you’re still finding joy in the parks, even with all the change, keep spreading that Disney magic!
As a Brazilian, I don't remember that we had The Muppets here, but I remember to watch Muppet Babies cartoon. When I got in HS I was surprised that it was a Disney brand. For me this attraction is a good place to get some rest and air-conditioner 😅
YES, bring Descendants to the parks! The fact they added them to the Halloween Party actually convinced us to finally go ahead and go to the party for the first time, because my daughter is obsessed right now with all the Descendants movies, characters, songs. Okay, maybe we are a little obsessed with them too. :)
I think they should just have an entire villians park . Each land would be hades underworld , Ursula’s lair , scars cave , and they need that huge demon from Fantasia .
I think the issue with Disney is that they want to expand and have new ideas, but became limited with space that the only way they can keep coming up with new ideas is to get rid of the old attractions or re-vamp them regardless of opinion. So Disney put themselves in a situation that they really can't get out of as all or most the land surrounding the parks is taken. Florida has more space compared to California, but even then it's still limited. I personally wouldn't want to see Muppets go either. I never experienced the one at DCA, but I had seen its show building before. I don't want the last project Jim worked on to die, but I also see that the attraction hasn't been as popular over the years and is loosing its luster. If I were Disney I'd just make another US park in the mid west or east, about the middlish of the states.
Do yourself a favor and watch a Muppet Christmas Carol. Now that the Holidays are coming up, you may get a better appreciation of what Jim Henson created.
Pc Dev I agree with you. Disney has too much space in the back parking lots that they could use instead of destroying the classic attractions. They could even use the flop Starcruiser resort and make something useful in that. I am quite a bit older than the muppets kids, but I do remember watching them occasionally on tv back in the 70s/80s. I am just tired of seeing Disney destroy things to bring in new stuff. Star wars land could have been located somewhere else and kept the backlot tour running. Catastrophe Canyon was really cool. But unfortunately those running Disney today will sadly see a bigger decrease in attendance when Epic Universe opens. But by then it may be too late for Disney to gain the title of being the biggest destination in the world. It almost seems that those in charge these days really don't care at all of the years and hard work that the retired imagineers put in to make Disney what it was. The likes of Marty Scalar, Tony Baxter and others seem to be discarded as "has beens". We really need another Michael Eisner in charge. Then we would see changes for the better.
I don't understand why Disney keeps increasing resort guest numbers by continuing to build hotels and DVC units, but hasn't increased park ride capacity, and just reimagines previous rides. That's why ride wait times are out of control.
I love Hollywood Studios and there is definitely a lot of dead space that could be utilized better. I miss the live actors in the streets doing short shows. Once Epic Universe opens I won't mind Disney wait times to be shorter. Lightning lane is ruining the parks. The cast members don't rotate the standby queue properly and it's frustrating.
Muppet's Vision 3D is one of my favorite experiences on WDW property, so I am very curious to see what Disney will do with the area. Star Tours is a big loss as well. However, Monsters, Inc. is an IP that will be excellent to have in DHS; it's a mixed bag, but hopefully it will pay off.
Thanks for the video, PCDev! I'm learning that the nostalgia/family friendly appeal of Disney is what makes it more attractive to me compared to more thrilling parks like Universal or Six Flags. I think there's room for everyone. Since Disney having something new on a grand scale right now (before Epic Universe) probably won't happen, I'm cool enjoying what we have. Two things I want in Hollywood Studios are learning how to draw Disney characters (currently in Animal Kingdom) and more broadway shows. I also think we need an ode to the Disney Renaissance era, because there was truly nothing like it.
I went to HS on Friday with my wife... it was actually rather busy that day, and Rock n Rollercoaster was down until about 11:30am. But we managed to get onto every major ride throughout the day. Rise was about 60 minutes most of the day. But there's no doubt about it... HS needs an infusion of something fresh now.
When muppets opened, the parents who brought their had more of a connection to it than the kids. These parents are now 65+ years old. My kids barely know who the muppets are. It would be somewhat sad to see it go, but there isn't a growing fan population.
Aren't Star Tours & Muppets more popular than Monsters Inc? Monsters Inc movie is not timeless like muppets and Star wars. Monster Inc movies arent good enough to have its own land like Nintendo.
There are so many shops, rides and restaurants that closed when COVID came along. Disney uses that excuse to explain all of the closures. We all know that it what just an excuse to fire much needed Cast Members and offer less while charging MUCH more!
The only thing I can think of, that Disney would put villains in Hollywood Studios and put cars in magic Kingdom would be to cross integrate visitors to give them a desire to want to go to all the parks. Otherwise, it makes no sense at all.
They aren't getting rid of Muppets or Star Tours. Someone started that rumor and it is crazy how the speculation ran rampant with it. Obviously, the Courtyard is the place for Monsters Inc. to go.
My opinion, monsters land should go where Launch Bay is. Move those characters and artifacts to the Star Wars hotel that closed after 18 months. Figure out a way to better connect the hotel to a galaxy’s edge. Now you have consolidated the Star Wars rides and attractions to one side of the park. Muppet Vision and star tours stay where they are at.
I liked the Muppets and I enjoyed Muppet 3d. I agree I think Hollywood studios needs more stuff. I am an old school Disney fan. I love the older movies and things so I would love to see stuff from them.
My first trip to DW included MGM Studios in 1991. I recall Muppets, the Backlot tour and more interactive attractions at the now studios. Maybe its just "progress" in the change of eras. I have great memories of the attractions from 1991. Prime Time 50s restaurant is one of the few remaining items from 1991.
I don't think they'll destroy Star Tours, not only because it's a fairly popular and well received attraction, but because they just added new video to the ride with Ahsoka and the Mandalorian, which would be an odd move to then tear it down. Then again, Universal completely refurbished Poseidon's Fury only to shut it down permanently a few months later, so who knows 🤷
As a local family of 5, every time we head to Orlando we are skipping visiting Hollywood, we get done with everything quickly then we just head on over to Epcot. it's not a full day park anymore. I really cant wait for Mario Land. that's going to be the now and i really care less about the future, when prices go up again like they do every year. Disney really isn't worth the cost we went from 6 times a visit down to 2 times a year.
Brilliant video again. I feel muppets should stay; consider how much people enjoy the muppets christmas carol etc. Disney should be investing more in this area; for example we could have meet & greets etc. * although a little biased as I have family who was a muppeteer. I have fond memories of the park, and it was excellent with the backlot tour- I understand how times have changed though as 'behind the scenes' theming may not have the same impact for younger generations with access to internet more than we used to. Also miss the writers top coffee shop- a nice quiet spot in the hussle & bussle.
I love the muppets but I also think Monster inc is really cute. I think it would be nice to keep something with the Muppets in it. But I love when it was MGM it had so much history and value to me and I'm sure others to. I am excited about the Villians coming but the back lot was so much fun and I loved when I was little and Mickey and his pals would just be walking around and walk up to you and take pictures and spent time just out. I'm hoping to go to Disney again next Christmas but will see. I do love your video's Dev cause I feel you are very honest and don't sugar coat it which I love
Disney has no idea what to do with the Muppet franchise. Muppet Haunted Mansion was cute, but past that, it’s been a horribly misused IP. While I agree Muppetvision is not pulling its weight in the park, it’s basically a cultural landmark for Henson as his last project.
In my eyes, the best idea would be knock down launch bay expand behind it, if the little mermaid show doesn’t come back knock that building down as well, and relocate Disney Jr into Walt Disney Presents
So if they replace Muppets courtyard with Monstropolis, what do they do with Animation Courtyard and Launch Bay? That whole side of the park (and the Cars show) is a huge waste of space. Also, Muppetvision 3D has low wait times because it is VERY high capacity. Conversely, Slinky Dog has LONG wait times because it is very LOW capacity.
I’ve been going to WDW since Magic Kingdom opened with E Tickets and have seen a lot of growth and change. Some have been great but, in recent years, it feels as though Disney is on a hamster wheel of errors. I despise how they made us slaves to our phones forcing us to miss the wonders and nostalgia that remains. Common sense will tell us that continually taking the joy away while charging more will eventually catch up with the business end. Most of all, I feel disrespected and unvalued as a loyal consumer and it’s all just so disappointing. With that, your content is never disappointing, Dev, and you are respectful to us and respected. Thank you.
I really miss the Great Movie Ride too!! That really represented Hollywood Studios. I wish someone would take the Great Movie Ride and put it somewhere else
It would be sad to lose the Muppets, but it is so old and nobody knows it and the kids have no idea. I think the monsters would be amazing. Would be great if maybe they put a small piece of Muppets somewhere. They need to move Star Tours to Star Wars area - I love that area and the ride. Move the training and meet and greet. Disney is not making good choices, they are mixing things up to much. I agree, they need to expand, not take it down and replace. With the crowds, they need enough room to spread people out more. Thanks for your video, love your honesty .
I grew up watching muppets, and love them.... but that show is tired...i think it needs to go and wont miss it. Also glad the parks are quiet at the moment as we just booked a last minute trip from the uk and we fly out this sunday.😁
I still call that park MGM, and my daughter (14) always corrects me. I miss the BackLot tour they had. A lot of these parks have gotten rid of that Magic they once had. Maybe I'm just old. It would be a shame if they closed The Muppets attraction. Wouldn't put it past them. Heck, Universal got rid of the Jaws ride. 🤘🤠
Disney hasn’t said where they will build this. Monsters Inc. would be better off in the animation courtyard WHERE NOTHING is anymore. I’m not even 100% sure Monster Inc land will happen b/c Disney is dying the death of 1000 self-inflicted cuts and is running out of money
Every 3D show at the parks has 5-10 min waits,I love the Muppets and Muppetvision 3D,I have seen it about 200 or more times so even though I love it I know things can't be there forever but at the same time it makes no sense to tear up the Muppets and Star Tours in a park that lacks attractions when they can tear up the animation courtyard which is totally dead space.DHS was better when it was MGM,it had a different vibe,it hosted Star Wars weekends,ESPN the weekend,Super Soap weekends, the Osborne lights, now it's the two new areas mixed with 35 year old attractions and the two thrill rides on Sunset blvd with the weird Cars/Villains show that seems way out of place.Disney screwed up Epcot but DHS is a bigger mess, they essentially need to replace half the park with new attractions,Indy show,Star Tours,Muppets courtyard,Animation courtyard cause all these attractions are way past their exp dates, the problem there is that the park has so few things to do if they spend 5-6 years building new areas what are people going to have left to do.The park needs to redo all these areas and figure out how to expand the park,if you look at the park on Google earth there should be some options to expand.Disney just spent decades in this park and the others not expanding and now the parks are a mess that need massive overhauls
I grew up on the mupoets but its not sad for me to get rid of it. Sea World and Busch Gardens has Seaseme street land which is part of Jim Hensen legacy.
I hear you dev about the name change. The park has barely anything to do with “studios” anymore or the making of movies. But instead just attractions themed to the movies renamed to “Hollywood REALMS” maybe ?
I think Dev regards Disney parks like those old Playboy or Penthouse magazines. Where Disney Park changes are like new magazine additions. You enjoy them for a while, but then you can’t wait for the next edition. When my kids were growing up, we went once a year to Disneyland for a whole week where we could take our time and really enjoy all the little things in the parks. The parks never got old to us because we didn’t go very often and we absolutely loved it when we were there because of the memories that were made, and not so much because of the excitement of new attractions.
HS is going to be so unbearable if they get rid of star tours and muppets at same time. Star tours was my go to when crazy long lines. The park already is lacking in rides and shows. Combined with lightning lane standby is going to be ridiculous for the rides left smh.
So 1) They have not announced where it is going. There are rumors just as strong that is going into Animation Courtyard and those are fueled by Disney clearing out those offices. 2) If it does go to Muppet Courtyard, they are not touching Star Tours. Ride building for the suspended coaster is going back into the existing parking lot. My personal feeling is they put it in AC and keep that Muppet area for a bit longer until it gets swallowed up for a Galaxy's Edge expansion.

Honestly. Nothing anywhere is the same anymore. I miss when life had life..

You know they will. They’ll say it’s racist or something and put in a ride that dosen’t work.
Rightttt?! Its the 1st thing i ride and sprinkle in throughout the day cuz the waits have always been low. Maybe changing up the story or whatnot might refresh, or move it into the star wars area.
They can get rid of the Launch bay for all I care
It's just very sad what our world is coming to these days! 😭
Change is NOT always good, you know.
All the land and they keep getting rid of stuff and replacing it with movies that are old ones.
People have been saying for like 10 years that Hollywood Studios is in a terrible state and they have sat on their heels doing nothing about it. Also I hate the idea of a Monsters Inc "land". Would be sad to see either of them go, but Disney is ruthless, they never expand just destroy
What is there to expand like seriously the muppets are old asf and you know it is when kids ask wtf are they and it’s about time star tours goes away.
@@jtheiiithey don’t use 60% of the land they own
It seems that Disney’s new model is to remove everything that screams Disney to the public.
Yes thank you!!! Same!!!
I agree with all that you said! I may be in the minority but I do not like MMRR. I miss the Great Movie Ride!!!!
Well 1 thing I disagree. Leave my Muppet babies alone. Put it in the other space it's just there
I grew up watching the Muppets but I'm fine with them replacing it because it wasn't Disney to start with
Our son was only 4 when we did the "Jedi Temple" back in 2019, and I'm so thankful we went to WDW then because Disney World now is no longer what it once was.
My bigger question is, what about that empty building in magic kingdom from alien encounter and then stitch’s great escape?
😂you mean X.S Tech? I mean The Extra Terrorestrial encounter?!
@@ahf5471 cause you had to be technical about it? I think everyone knew what I was referencing. Please, be respectful and not technical. Have an awesome day
It still saddens me in the corner of where stitch used to be it still shows the galactic federation symbol 😔
Man, I would be really disappointed if Star Tours went away. This may be a hot take, but I prefer Star Tours over Smuggler’s Run.
I have to say, Disney has killed the magic, and I can't go back to Disney. I love watching your channel because I just adore you and Bianca.
Disney doesn't care about the parks anymore. DCL is now their pride and joy.
I miss backlot. That made Hollywood Studios. It was the BEST! I couldn’t care less about Star Tours or Muppets 🤷♀️ bring back the classic MGM feeling mixed with some new things!
There is also a rumor that the Animation Courtyard is another location for Monsters Inc Land
PCDev is 100% right- Disney needs an attraction and they need it now. When epic universe opens next year I guarantee you Disney will see a large decline in attendance & revenue at their parks. They are becoming stale
I use to enjoy going to Disney, but ever since that magic spark went away I haven't really enjoy going to the parks
Here is my opinion:
1) Monstropolis should be at the Animation Courtyard.
Get rid of muppets ! I love star tours! The new scenes are pretty badass and clean! I can’t do roller coasters so these rides I love!
I hope they don't get rid of MuppetVision. It just wouldn't be right. And Star Tour should be moved into Galaxy's Edge.
We went on Aug 31st and both times we saw Muppet vision it was near capacity. Was amazing. Hoping Disney is noticing.
If Muppets were more popular with the 20 and younger crowd, it might have had a chance.
As a Brazilian, I don't remember that we had The Muppets here, but I remember to watch Muppet Babies cartoon.
When I got in HS I was surprised that it was a Disney brand. For me this attraction is a good place to get some rest and air-conditioner 😅
Honestly, I’m all for the crowds moving to Epic Universe. It’ll be nice for the park to be less chaotic with everyone’s focus shifting toward Epic
I completely agree!
That sounds like a very niche park for a very niche audience. No way that'll succeed w/ the general public.
Another park would cripple animal kingdom.
@@barnabasthecat7329 cripple? It’s doing fine .
@@bluegold1026 yeah - they said the same thing with guardians of the galaxy . No one had heard of them prior to the first movie.
I can only imagine what Tesla charges to fix a tire.
Yes, Dev, can you tell us? Please!
Depends on which model Tesla but for the cheapest (model 3) it’ll be around $3-400 per tire but that also depends on the tire you want
Disney has truly lost their way. They just don't know their identity anymore. With leadership that lacks vision or creativity it's really a shame 😢
The entire summer was considerably slower than recent years. I can imagine now…
WOW! - I hope Disney's Board is listening to your blog!!!!!
We really enjoyed the two old guys in the balcony they are watching too funny.
Don’t take away tower of terror for monsters tower of terror. I still gotta ride it!
They should’ve built Galaxy’s Edge on the parking lot behind Star Tours
I saw you on Sunday. I wasn’t sure it was you but saw your video when I got home. ❤️🙏❤️
You always come to worship at home. Pray for Star Tours and Muppet fishing 3-D. 😊❤🎉
Crazy how it's been a month and still no construction updates. No new renderings. Silence
Great idea!
Fantastic idea!
My daughter grew up with The Muppets. She's always love them just like we went at christmas time to see the osbourne lights and they took that away
I personally say leave the Muppets alone, as a Disney Adult that is a huge Muppets fan
Love your vid Dev! Always appreciate the honesty. Disney has the ability to step it up. They just need to want to!
Monsters should go in the animation courtyard. There's more room, and could even expand into the one man's dream building.
I think the villians show is to build excitement for the villain's land in MK that we won't see for at least 5 more years.
Long term I think it’ll go away sadly but I really hope I’m wrong
As a local family of 5, every time we head to Orlando we are skipping visiting Hollywood, we get done with everything quickly then we just head on over to Epcot. it's not a full day park anymore. I really cant wait for Mario Land. that's going to be the now and i really care less about the future, when prices go up again like they do every year. Disney really isn't worth the cost we went from 6 times a visit down to 2 times a year.
Disney should get out of politics and take care of the parks.
I AGREE!!!!!!
I get the feeling PCDev doesn't like Disney that much anymore lol
I love Disney I just need them to be better like they once were!
@@PCDev Hard agree.
Agree dev
@@PCDev I so very much agree with this statement! Thank you for always keeping it real
Disney brings it on themselves
I hope it's not Muppets Courtyard.
Please Disney expand by Annimation
Thank you.
I know it won't happen, but I would love to see the Osborn Family Lights come back!
Omg I wish they would bring that back! That show was pure Christmas magic!
Disney is resting on its laurels and Epic Universe is about to eat them up. Im here for it
Disney hasn’t said where they will build this.
But instead just attractions themed to the movies
renamed to “Hollywood REALMS” maybe ?
What was the name of the handheld, portable fan you recommended at while back? Looking to get one. Love your videos!
I 🙏 hope they keep the Lightning McQueen and just relocate and reopen it. Maybe in the upcoming cars queue?
Saw dev recording this video this day! Dude was on a mission
Can't wait to see what they do to make monstropolis work. I'm gonna be a cast member in 2025 with the Disney college program. I hope to meet you soon.
I agree - Lightning Lane is slowing standby.
