I feel like one of the most important things to remember as Assault is to not jump too high - only jump as high as you need to for a ground pound that will hit, or to scout/shoot people that aren't in ground pound range. You can start charging the ground pound pretty much as soon as you jump, so 2 quick ground pounds in a row are nearly impossible to stop. Works even in corridors.
Glad u covered feeding in annihilation. I had teammates fighting each other over having lots of kills making one better than others. Although getting kills is good, having less death is also great.
Great vids bro, I’ve been playing so much assault, and I appreciate seeing such a detailed guide. Can I pick your brain as to why you prefer the Chainsword more? Every time I swap off the hammer I miss the charged attacks and being able to 2 shot someone with a slam+swing. I feel you on the slowness but you can really get around that a lot by just parry canceling your missed animations. I’m glad to hear someone else prefers the regular pistol, I got the heavy bolter recently and was feeling it was worse than the regular pistol but I figured it was a skill issue. Again great vid.
I think it's just a feel thing, although the hammer is strong I just feel more comfortable in duels with the sword, i find it easier to deal with bulwarks with light attack heavy attack strings. The hammer for sure is not bad and has things the sword can't do but sword just feels right, I'm going to check the damage numbers between pistols in the training room eventually but the regular pistol also just feels better to wield imo.
@@brotag3939 agree idk why my accuracy is way worse with the heavy bolter, I must just be bad with magnum style guns idk. Funny you bring up the sword into bulwarks because I find the hammer to be the easier option into bulwarks, bulwarks really have no answer to a heavy hammer blow lol, I feel like I kill a bulwark much faster with the hammer than with the light heavy combos of the sword
@@AzemSP The huge hammer swings also seem to be able to catch people when your aim is slightly off, which is nice when 10 bajillion people are throwing shock grenades at you.
Bro really put JSRF Sneakman as background music and didn't think we'd notice? Also, I swear to god the first song reminds me the soundtrack for Sega GT 2002(which I had the disk with JSRF on it as a kid)
great vid! very informative, I gotta try that bomb air drop lol I main assault in PVE but I felt useless in PVP and had to switch to a more traditional FPS class like Tactical and Heavy, I'm hoping I'll do better with these strats btw, what's the first song in the video?
Songs in order are Persona 5 - Layer cake Jet set radio - Sneakman Castlevantia SOTN - Wandering ghosts Sorry should have had that in the description lmao yeah the important thing to remember is to not over extend, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
once you go up into the air while charging as soon as you hear the rev and the flash you can release the attack button to slam sooner instead of full charging it
I keep seeing people saying this but assault/raptor looked way more broken in sm1, I did not play it but they had no cool down on their jump pack at all and could still kill you with a slam into one melee with the hammer and the hammer was faster, I've watched several matches and while it is a bit more punchy it doesn't seem all too different, I think you guys just have your nostalgia glasses on tbh. how anyone could say they want assault to have infinite jump pack is beyond me
@@brotag3939I want Assault to have infinite jetpack charges cuz I main assault. If I play a different class because Assault is taken then I don't want Assault to have infinite jetpack charges though.

Actually huge info tbh, going to full jump height and full charging a slam is asking to get shot out of the air.
Actually so true my KDA skyrocketed when I started double slamming people. You can consistently win 2v1’s like that!
I took your advice on "If it's easy take it twice" and now i have chlamydia.
lmao
this is the best assault pvp guide i have seen so far man thanks heaps for this. keep it up
appreciate it a ton, thanks.
Melta airstrikes look so fun
He said it, he said beeta

IMO you should aim for at least breaking even, being negative in TDM means you are not an asset lmao
Really good, on to the point and informative video!
Thank you
Very succinct and informative man. I can't believe I didnt think of using the melta as an aerial bomb. Maybe I wont suck so much ass now XD
Love the sotn music
Love that track, Castlevania is loaded with amazing songs
Excelent guide 🙌🏻
wow such informative
Take it easy baby

@@hyteclowlife The hit box for the hammer is insane on ground swings.

Sneakman is a banger, First song is layer cake from persona 5, I'll add the song titles to the description

How do you do the quick slams? Mine either take 3-5 business days, or I get shot out of the air.

How do you feel about the Power Fist?
feels short ranged, but the stagger is nice, needs more experimentation on my part but the few games I did use it I was underwhelmed.
Awe yes, the jump up and down tactics. A real shame the pvp didn't carry over from sm1..
