As someone who does Vanguard pretty well, my recommendation is using the grapple hook primarily for relocation and flanking. You can save a team that is locked in spawn if you got a shock grenade and can drop down on a group of four. Sew havoc and reap victory. Also, if you can get close enough to a heavy while their shield is up, you can shoot through it, just proceed to step to your left around them while constantly firing from the hip. Since they will likely be in ADS for higher fire rate, they won't track you nearly as well. Its risky but I've done it with success more often than not. And that is how you can tell I'm 6th legion.

People get so mad when you go invisible and flank but like I'll stop that when you stop spamming jetpack assault, block spammin as a bulwark and shielding so much as a heavy
The easiest way to deal with a Bulwark is to keep a load out with Krak grenades. If they haven’t already lost health, the stagger from the grenade leaves a long enough opening to finish them off.
I started having some horrible stats at level 25 because I no longer care about winning. Doing stupid stuff like hogging every grenade pack on the map and speed running flashbang headaches or focusing one player and doing nothing but dropping melta bombs on them from the air is much more entertaining. When in a 3-queue and all of us are screwing around, it usually disrupts the enemy team to the point that they stop functioning or half of them ragequit.
Using the heavy melta, I can wreck anyone trying to take an obj. Stay LoS till someone gets brave and tries to take the obj then melt em. Bulks go down easy with a stomp then blast. Anything beyond kissing range = the Melta loss. I only pull it out if I see an overly aggressive enemy team. (also helps if there's a Bulk ally near, people panic and can't deside which to target)
multi melta in capture and control is really good. You can kill other heavies too by circling around them since turn rate is really slow in heavy stance and bolters need to heavy stance
Another great point for bulwark, currently (not sure if they’ll nerf this) the power fist one shots anyone full health barely holding its charge for a second. You will win any bulwark V bulwark melee fight by just barely charging the fist. Went 22-5 in back to back games thanks to no one really expecting to get one shotted as I run up on them. The 4 armor and shield really complements being aggressive and just punching all your enemies.

Ironically I used to just run an smg as a sniper but then started running an aggressive sniper where I don’t camp one spot but run around and snipe its pretty terrifying since you have a larger range compared to an smg that you have to run the risk of being close to the enemy, and if a large amount of them has grouped up sniper rounds go through targets.
I find assaults pretty simple to kill, it's the snipers with carbine I really hate. They are somehow always invisible and somehow around every corner and somehow can kill everyone with their gun even when you start shooting them in the back before they even see you. The weird thing is I never seem to get that kind of damage with the carbine, even with headshots. I really don't understand it.
I just wish people would learn how to actually their class appropriately and learn how the objective points work and that being a murder hobo only helps in one game mode .
I ain't gonna lie, the pvp in SM2 is a giant disappointment to me, it feels like Gears Judgement (the worst one) no downs, no ranked matchmaking, boring maps etc... rest of the game is so much better it makes me wonder why it was even included.
I tried PVP on launch, was exited to have full jump pack functionality, pulled up my power hammer, and got out dpsed by every single ranged weapon standing still in front of me. Got killed before the second hit every time. Unless you get the jump on people, that is what happens. It's a fun concept, but the supposedly super strong armor feels like cardboard. I don't know how, or if, they will attempt to fix it but I'm not a fan. Was half expecting super resilient, elite champions of mankind, or chaos super-soldiers, paragons of skill and endurance, but it plays like an average fps. Run up, aim, shoot a few bullets, kill or die pretty quick. What's the point of being a super soldier with power armor if it plays somewhat like every fps? You can go ahead and say "skill issue" but it's not for me. I much prefer losing all my health mid-air for a sniper tyranid while my team shoots the melees.
Yes, you are a super soldier of sorts, but it's important to bear in mind you're fighting other super soldiers with weapons meant to kill super soldiers.
@@JebblesJunior Indeed, but then what is the differential from any other average fps other than the graphics and theme? Because gameplay wise I find many other multiplayer fps games better. I understand though, which is why I think it's a hard issue to address. The guns are also supposed to feel powerful.
@@plineowissman7624 with that logic why play any shooter? They all are about guys with guns shooting each other so they're clearly the exact same. This is such a weird and bad take lol
Example: you can have the best gun and still suck, every tool has a user that can wield it with the upmost efficiency. The best tool for you wont be the best tool for me and Vic versa. @3:35 It's because a lot of people have the misunderstanding that just hitting lv cap (in any game) it automatically makes them good and on that strength alone they will win. The more skill based (being able to utilize skills and ability's together) players know better, this truth is relevant in pve as well. I've ran many a opp with max level players that didn't know left from right, let alone their nose from their ass.
Is it just me or are extremely unbalance pvp matches still common? Constantly getting games where my team can barely touch the point and get a double digit score on the board and the other team is practically spawn camping to the point I find PVP very unfun
Coming from a guy that maxed out the two armors first, you are disrespecting the Bolt Sniper a little too frivolously. I've dealt with competent flankers before, and most do not expect me to have saved my flash and hip firing into them before popping stealth, after which I finish them and continue shooting their Heavy and Tactial in the face repeatedly. Simply need to have a life outside of holding Mouse 2
This game mode is just people camping the spawn points and getting jumped by a dude from the sky with a hammer. Super annoying how I’ll shot a dude for a full mag just to get two shot by a hammer
I’m sorry, but this isn’t a video on how to get better or even play smarter in a tactical sense. This is openly stacking a deck to get your most favorable match up which isn’t skill. If everybody followed your advice half of the games would instantly dc or the second nobody “responds” you just say fuck it and leave? Don’t get me wrong does this work? Yes. If everybody did this would the game be better? Absolutely not. I’m personally only lvl 20 pvp and I LOVE playing against higher lvl squads. You know why? Most players once they reach a certain competency become good solo players but EVERYONE else is the reason they lose. This is more like a video on how to ease good players ego with copium. I feel like you're missing the point here. The video started out and ended by saying it's a tutorial on how to be a cheap, underhanded bastard. But apart from stacking matchmaking, the class advice remains pretty reliable.
@@JebblesJuniorThat’s a fair point. I’m only stating that just cause you’re honest about being underhanded does not make being underhanded valid overall.
Multiplayer was very much an afterthought, it wasn't even supposed to be in the game in initially.
@@JebblesJunior If some ppl enjoy it then I'm happy for them, but for me I'd take extra operations and horde mode over it any day of the week.
@@lv2982 They really need to work on class balance, team rebalance/shuffle, and just giving us more.
Question
How do I not get rolled by Max level players when I only play pvp casually
You must look up my son.
Calling Tactical's Auspex an "ok" skill is bait 😅
People forget you can just not walk into it.
@@JebblesJuniorThat's why you place it on top of them, then they don't get the option to walk around it
Using mouse and keyboard or controller?
M&K
This is such a weird and bad take lol

you have a jump pack. use it. the enemy can parry or dodge your normal attacks, but not ground slams
Is the power fist supposed to just one shot heavy attack anyone?
Pretty much. It's kinda bullshit but use their charge time to do a step back and you'll be ok.
Great analogy for Biden and Kamala. Resonated.
A solo lv 25 is bad because most 25s that are good play together.
As a single level 25 player I don’t suck. If you see me spamming thanks it means my team is bad. I hate getting goon squadded by pre mades
I CARVE MY NAAAME ACROSS YOUR TOOOWNS WHEN I'M SET
Example: you can have the best gun and still suck, every tool has a user that can wield it with the upmost efficiency. The best tool for you wont be the best tool for me and Vic versa.
@3:35 It's because a lot of people have the misunderstanding that just hitting lv cap (in any game) it automatically makes them good and on that strength alone they will win. The more skill based (being able to utilize skills and ability's together) players know better, this truth is relevant in pve as well. I've ran many a opp with max level players that didn't know left from right, let alone their nose from their ass.
3:15 any experiences like this
I disagree with your statement on the bolt sniper. I use it to quick scope I have some nasty clips doing so.
As do I, but the time to kill just isn't fast enough unless you're fighting a roster fresh off the short bus who doesn't use cover.
Is it just me or are extremely unbalance pvp matches still common? Constantly getting games where my team can barely touch the point and get a double digit score on the board and the other team is practically spawn camping to the point I find PVP very unfun
Yeah, the team balancing is awful. But you can embrace that and turn it the other way as well.
What matchmaking I'm top every game and lose every game thanks to the bottom 2 being 1/10
lol once you hit level 25 you just wanna get good at other shit so you suck again for awhile
This game mode is just people camping the spawn points and getting jumped by a dude from the sky with a hammer. Super annoying how I’ll shot a dude for a full mag just to get two shot by a hammer
I mean, if you hit the full mag, he'd be dead.
@@JebblesJunior yeah but everyone just camps with shields together dude it’s super unbalanced only like two classes are useful for unskilled players.
@@JebblesJunior you bad player bro you probably have a group of friends which basically makes you be able to curb stomp opposing teams
Dude is absolutely a great player though.
If EVERYONE acted like right cunts in EVERY game, it would be terrible. We need to lessen shitty behavior in our communities instead of joining in. If you support that, that’s entirely your right.
Im good at all classes and most importantly I always finish 1st Im tired of trash teammates ( xXBM4LXx) ID PS5 If you want to add me
