For patapon 1 and 2 sure you can just play the game as it is and use the materials and weapons you get from story missions, but patapon 3? Without grinding? Hell nah
Uberhero Tondenga has the highest DPS, making it ideal for single player game. Guardira provides extra defense when the uberhero dies. Kibadda has a good compromise between strength and defense, although Charibasa would be ideal, but he's hard to unlock. For Kan, the best class is Jamsch, but again he's hard to get, so Wonda is here for a stat boost. The most surprising thing is that this team with good stats is unlocked at the very beginning of the game almost by default.

Normally you have to complete tutorial missions before going on the first story quest. However, you can skip tutorial by activating multiplayer. And Herogate only become active after you create a team

I started playing patapon 3, and choose yumiyacha, but on tower of purity i just struggle with those damn underground cratures. just when my team is charged, he chooses to go underground, so my whole preparation is wasted, and then he jist shreds me. I'm thinking, should i just restart whole game and try other uberhero, or struggle even more and get cannongabang?
Yeah... Tower of Purity is probably the worst designed level in the entire Patapon trilogy. I can give you some tips on how to overcome it using the bow class: 1) Use Alosson as your uberhero. Cannogabang would be even better, but I assume it's impossible to reach level 12 on purity to unlock him. Change Chin to Tondenga since he's durable and can do some damage when your hero dies. The rest of the team is irrelevant, but I recommend using Wondabarappa for a slight stat boost. 2) Alosson is a ranged unit, so you should always keep your distance. There is a chance that you can dodge the golem's arm attack by using Pon Pata while you are far away. 3) Keeping your distance will buy you time, but the golems will eventually get closer. It's better to be able to finish them off before they start getting closer. Take any longbow with good enchantments (best for early game is [St] for strength), level it up to your uberhero level. Your Alosson's level should also be at least 10. The best place to level up is the Blizzard Tower, but you can also level up at the Tower of Purity, as it will be more effective when your level is 8-9. 4) Remember that Alosson's hero mode improves over time, so it's better to use Pon Pon all the time rather than a charge attack. It will also be helpful to get Alosson's class skills (first one or two) to increase your attack speed. 5) DO NOT USE KRAKABOM CROSSBOW! Never. It gives a huge damage boost, but greatly reduces your attack speed. 6) Once you can defeat the giant golem at the end of the first floor without summoning, you're ready to move on. Otherwise, return to the Hideout after the first floor to save your loot. 7) The second floor is even worse as there are two dragons on it. In most cases, it is better to defeat the dragon and then summon to regain lost health. Avoid summoning while fighting dragons or golems. The dragon's breath is deadly without charge defense, and the golem fights alongside a salamander that can blast you while you're not in control during summoning. 8) If you have a spare summon before the last room with the golem, you can do the following trick. Open the door and let golem see you. Dodge his attacks and do not move forward until the door closes. Once it's closes, you will be protected from attacks. Then you summon and maximize the score so that spears can deal massive damage to golem. You probably need to learn how to summon efficiently. The easiest way is to spam: Pata-Pon-Chaka-Don-Chaka-Don-Don; Chaka-Don-Don-Pata-Pon-Chaka-Don, then repeat. 9) When you reach the third floor, it will be much easier than the second one. Just remember how Gaeen telegraphs his attacks and you should be able to defeat him on the first try.
I'm glad it wasn't just me who hated tower of purity. All the dungeons are pretty obnoxious but this and the one following slogturtle are objectively the worst. Both require extensive knowledge before proceeding. I struggled so hard with a couple of the dungeons back when I was in highschool, but it requires a lot of patience to trudge through these

Why do you create a team and activate multiplayer at the very begining ?
Normally you have to complete tutorial missions before going on the first story quest. However, you can skip tutorial by activating multiplayer. And Herogate only become active after you create a team
