@@TFLtalk Andre and Roman are my Absolute Favorites from this channel. Tommy and Kase are great but I can't stand the other guy, Nathan and Mr Truck especially 😅😂😊
7:42 that color is literally called Petty blue. And it’s a Toyota because Richard is the ambassador/former owner of Legacy Motor Club, which fields Toyotas in NASCAR
Roman was wondering what happens to SEMA builds. I watch a lot of shows about car customization and have seen a few SEMA builds. After SEMA, some vehicles that were built to showcase a certain company's product and have no use after so they are sometimes sold and modified to be a more practical driving vehicle. Some vehicles were built by a shop for the owner, and because a certain brand of lights, suspension, etc, was installed it is chosen as a SEMA display vehicle and after goes home with the owner. Other vehicles are bought for a car collection and dissappear into a garage or warehouse. Some projects are practical builds that are bought and driven. You will only see a SEMA vehicle if it gets taken to car shows after SEMA, and there is still interest in it. Chevrolet gave a 2015 Chevy Colorado to the Roadster Shop, and they turned it into a prerunner called the ColoRADo that was featured in the GoPro booth at SEMA. After SEMA, a short video was made in the desert with it. Thomas Fichter, owner of N-FAB, saw it, admired its functional beauty, and bought it. He doesn't want to destroy it or abuse it because it's a mechanical work of art, but he enjoys driving it.
I was there on Friday. That was my first time at SEMA. It was so amazing. They did a parade Friday afternoon around the block around the convention center. Probably 2 to 300 cars and trucks drove by. It was unbelievable.
Hi Roman, Larry here and that little kei car is a Mazda AZ1 which was sold by their autozam division in Japan only. It's actually made by Suzuki and has Suzuki 's Infamous F6a turbo motor in it. I think stock it came with 66 horsepower and about 87 lb feet of torque
Roman, the J62 came with rectangular headlights, and a 155hp engine for a rig weighing over 5500lb. I owned one, loved it, but the lack of power finally made me sell it. Now I have a LC 250 with rectangular headlights and enough power to drive up mountains on the highway. I am happy.
The 300zx with LS3 is a 2+2 so it was not turbo unless it was Japanese version which that was not. You can tell by the gas filler being behind the tire and not in front. it's also longer which is hard to see so the gas filler is the best tell. Hopefully I will see you next year :) I've been going every 2-3 years.
The 3rd one was the Westcott Designs Baja Cruiser. You 2 forgot to bow in the presence of her majesty and greatness lol😝. This was the best custom LC build at SEMA! That SLR Mclaren was Speedracer inspired! How did you now see that? Lol Roman was quite the critic here LOL.😂 Great video guys!
This video was supposed to be about cars only. Much of it of it is only about trucks. Everybody and their buddies are doing trucks. There were a lot of cars at the show. But you guys pretty much ignored them because Roman doesn’t really want to do cars.
42:54 wasn’t there someone you guys reported on that got a warning about driving their AWD (Crosstrek?) in a National Park and the fine could be like $5,000+? So I kinda agree with Roman about the Pilot HRC being not an Off-Roader.
Car shows - especially ones like SEMA can be a lot of fun, to see potential and dreams come to life! This should’ve been a company road trip, IMO. Roman and Andrey doing their thing but Tommy, Kase, Jen and Mary iso the ultimate chick magnet would’ve been fun too!
So, Roman - at the 14:50 area you mention you didnt know a Nova from a Chevelle and that you didnt know much of this era of vehicles. My question is "Where did you live when in your late teens to not know about American cars"? I did an online search on you and it mentions you driving the autobahn in your earlier years. When did you actually make it back to the USA?
4:05 I’m actually glad that at least Toyota is able and willing to make retro models. When you have the best brand, you can do things like that and have it sell well. For me going off road is an expensive hobby and I use my truck like a tool or small donkey. Wish Toyota kept the original 4 Cylinder and v6 engines with optional turbos but maybe 4 engine options and possibly 6 with hybrid and full electric engines would be too many variants. If anyone can make the turbos reliable though, it is Toyota.
Dear Dale, forgive them for which they do not know. The color is Petty Blue, and the team switched to Toyota this year. I know there’s more to it than that just trying to keep it simple.
@TFLtalk No, it isn't. This is a video, not a podcast. 5min in and I had to open my phone to WATCH the podcast because you didn't describe in words what you see/look at/discuss.
you seen one SEMA show youve pretty much seen 'em all. A collection of Really cool builds that will never be built and even if they were.... 90% of us couldnt afford it in the first place. And every auto TH-camr throwing up 5 full length vidoes of the same stuff over and over. YAWN....
Another awesome day started with TFL & SEMA how cool is that thanks guys
Glad you enjoyed it

@@TFLtalkI don't like that Father and son in Canada very much either LOL 😆
Roman mixing up Petty and Earnhardt should disqualify him from automotive journalism :P
Yeah I kinda was thinking the same thing haha
I hate Roman... always have
Worry some more is it’s 2024 and useless hubcaps are still being used, there is something seriously wrong in the automotive industry,Roman will do ok 👍
...&..if you don't know who ...'' GEORGE BARRIS '' iS ..WTF ?!!
Is Roman American? I don't think so. Nascar was by far only an American thing.
7:42 that color is literally called Petty blue. And it’s a Toyota because Richard is the ambassador/former owner of Legacy Motor Club, which fields Toyotas in NASCAR
Yes sir!

Thanks for the great info!
Richard Petty's race cars were mostly painted that same light blue, including his now famous 1970 Plymouth Superbird.
You’re right.
I was there on Friday. That was my first time at SEMA. It was so amazing. They did a parade Friday afternoon around the block around the convention center. Probably 2 to 300 cars and trucks drove by. It was unbelievable.

One of the aftermarket headlight companies is developing round (I hope) headlights for the LC 250

My favorite overall was a green International Scout that was restored to perfection
.... if you are my age 57, the classic cars are putting me in a warm fuzzy place with my memories of cars
same here but do like the JDM cars of the 80s and 90s
That little M2 1015 is a Autozam and they were only produced for the 1994 Model Year. Cool little Car !!!
Thanks TFL for the walk through at SEMA! I hoper to see it in person someday 😊
The 3rd one was the Westcott Designs Baja Cruiser. You 2 forgot to bow in the presence of her majesty and greatness lol😝. This was the best custom LC build at SEMA!
That SLR Mclaren was Speedracer inspired! How did you now see that? Lol
Roman was quite the critic here LOL.😂
Great video guys!
Roman, the white and red Mercedes is an offtake of TV show speed racer the Mach 5
Dale Earnhardt had black on his most notable race car. Richard Petty had blue on his most notable race car.
Roman may have been referring to how Richard dresses. The man does tend to wear black a lot.
Aww. I’m getting tired so I’m cranky. Just report and take your nap later Roman. 😂 👍🏼
The 1986 Toyota Celica Rally Cars were my favorite.
Thank you for for sharing the Land Cruiser!🙏
Great filming and show
Oh wow, Toyota FINALLY admitting that the 86 is really a Celica?
This video was supposed to be about cars only. Much of it of it is only about trucks. Everybody and their buddies are doing trucks. There were a lot of cars at the show. But you guys pretty much ignored them because Roman doesn’t really want to do cars.
Oh stop whining
Picking the worst cars at SEMA has got to be a monumental challenge. It's a target rich environment.
42:54 wasn’t there someone you guys reported on that got a warning about driving their AWD (Crosstrek?) in a National Park and the fine could be like $5,000+? So I kinda agree with Roman about the Pilot HRC being not an Off-Roader.
HEY TOYOTA IF YOUR READING THIS
start the 80s pickup line again,
but sell it as a "side by side" to skirt the regulations like the good ol days 😂
Was Roman confusing Dale Earnhardt with Richard Petty?
Yep.

Madmac widebody P1 with a 3 rotor turbo pro drift car is wild. I don't think they even know who Mad Mike is
@9:01 that is a big booth :)

I can't believe they actually passed up the REAL toyota Supra to record the BMW supra... GEEZUS
Yeah Roman telling Andrey to forget recording the most awesome Supra to get the crappy camera Supra was sacrilegious to all Car Nuts/Aficionados
This is TFL TALKS, so trucks CAN be covered. Don't be narrow-minded.
Goodbye all german vehicles soon. Most are already over prices and I'm somewhat confident they will have a 10 percent tariff soon.
Dear Dale, forgive them for which they do not know. The color is Petty Blue, and the team switched to Toyota this year. I know there’s more to it than that just trying to keep it simple.
I think Roman needs a Snickers to cheer him up.
At 45:22 - the sign says "The Freedom of the Wilderness Trail" Ummm, no - these things don't belong in Wilderness areas.
You passed two old VW Bugs! That is my sister's favorite car!!!!
Wow, how can a channel be so in love with boring vehicles and claim they are not sponsored by them. TFL must stand for Toyota For Life.
49:04 That Prologue made to look like the Rivian R3X.
Very cool Land Cruisers i like them all 😎👌Nice Chevy Nova 😍
The complete chassis are really cool.
Hartley builds hi performance custom engines in New Zealand !!
That Pantera is the most beautiful thing at the show.
Roman, the Rolls Royce Corniche is a convertable.
Roman im younger than you a couple years and i love muscle cars!
Love that K5 Blazer!!!
Hi Andre... Honda Racing Corporation ( HRC )
Autozam AZ-1 and Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow were the two cars that Roman could not identify.
The center caps are great looking the smooth wheel design is not.
The wheels should be black with holes.
The color is called Petty blue, your thinking of Dale Earnhardt. Come on Roman...
Chrome caps area great retro look.
1:00:58 B is For Build car
M2 1015 is made by Honda
this time Toyota rules
i can't decide what land cruiser to choose
they are all gorgeous
That's a cool 250, but it's not a Landcruiser.
It is a Land Cruiser, just the Land Cruiser Prado not the top dog LC
Guys, this is not a podcast
Sure it is.
@TFLtalk No, it isn't. This is a video, not a podcast.
5min in and I had to open my phone to WATCH the podcast because you didn't describe in words what you see/look at/discuss.
It’s more of a vlog
The new Defender L663 is a unibody vehicle. No Chassis.
TFL BOAT TFL everything
It's time for Roman to pass the torch
So many awesome cars and trucks
Glad you liked them!
That CLASSIC RED BENZ is too much with spoiler. ..
The resto Ford at the beginning.
The mustang for me, 🏁🏁🏁 for cars.
The Pilot blows the ridgeline out of the water.
Roman just called an electric motor a supper charger.
Roman has a lot to learn about cars.
red SL is designed by someone who doesnt understand design and modifies for the sake of modifying
This was the most boomer sema tour imaginable.
Roman if your pee is that color green you need to seek medical attention immediately..
We need tfl boat
Toyotas and even the 4x4 models are all just cars! As Matt from Matt's off road recovery says, IFS is best used on golf courses!
you seen one SEMA show youve pretty much seen 'em all. A collection of Really cool builds that will never be built and even if they were.... 90% of us couldnt afford it in the first place. And every auto TH-camr throwing up 5 full length vidoes of the same stuff over and over. YAWN....

Real Land Cruisers have ROUND headlights.

Oh no how dare they do a segment on the world's largest automotive company in their vehicle focused channels. What fanboys
I did not like the Mercedes Pagoda restomod. However, I know there are those who will like it, but I’m not a fan.
Petty blue isn’t petty?
Roman your too anxious.
