Am a shy person, am scared and lack confidence i always dodge my way out of things like public speaking or even raising my hand in class. Am a second year student and still bad at communicating publicly. But just as @ the speaker said, "You have to do your own pushups and learn to be uncomfortable for everything we desire to have there is a price to pay." I watched this video 6 years back and 9:55 the quote literally changed my whole perspective to look at things and i know it sound simple but it has changed my whole persepetive to blaming others to taking the responsibility to change things. It has helped me in general not just communication. I can say this was my life altering video and I come to listen to this quote often to keep myself on track.

I am a chartered accountant. I always feel that my communication skills are utterly poor. And by looking at the video i feel there are many ways one can achieve what they wants to with the fuel in their tanks which is nothing but the hardwork. The entire speech doesn't not talk about the language, it talks about the ways one needs to find for thiwr personality development.
