Ellen, I don’t comment after every demo, my words would sound repetitive, but saying your work is wonderful is easy to say each time. Truly enjoy watching you paint, have confidence to “play with color” as you always say with a smile in your voice. You make it fun, thank you.

Thank you, Ellen! I don’t often do landscapes, gradient washes, or glazing, but I love how they look! Somehow I need to do more as it takes awhile for the muscle memory to kick in again🤪⁉️

Ellen, I finally got myself some Arches paper and this was the first tutorial that I practiced on this wonderful paper with that you recommend. Oh my goodness, I am so sold on this paper!!! It was so wonderful to paint with and it made everything I was trying to create so much easier and effortless. Plus, it was for the first time I was able to paint a gradient technique successfully. Thank you so for your wonderful videos. You are such an amazing talent and it's so wonderful you share it with us. I so appreciate you!!!

Love this Ellen! Of course I’ve just come off of two weeks painting gradients for my Florida sunsets so it’s fresh in my head. I used the other technique you did your tutorial on with the sopping wet surface, wet the back of the paper, then wet the front. I had so much fun creating those using my glass cutting board flipped to the smooth side. Thanks so much for all your hard work passing on the techniques you use so professionally. I very much appreciate you and love your inspiration. Blessings to you and everyone!

This is lovely Ellen! Can you explain in simple colour theory why these colours work and Don’t make an undesired colour where they mingle. I know that you do have to be careful with blues and yellows and no doubt other colors.! Thanks so much for all your videos and great talent and expertise!
