Can't believe I almost missed this video, damned algorithm!! I love how you assembled this list, and I think you chose some amazing books. Heeeck yes for Royal Assassin and The Hobbit getting the love they deserve!
A few series I've never heard of that I can add to my extremely (wonderfully? horribly?) long list, thank you sir for enduring that brutally discerning 20-30 minute process 🙏
😱 I’m about to get into Royal Assassin this month-so hearing your praise is getting me even more excited for something I was already maxed out on. I’m really stoked to get into the empire trilogy at some point 😂 so Many dang books. And how much you talk about the chronicles of hannivar, it feels that one needs to edge onto my list too
Awesome video 🥳 and great recommendations. Have to move blood song up my TBR. And I will definitely read more Howard Andrew Jones. Currently reading his other series and it’s so much fun.
I love seeing the love for Feist. I recently finished the Riftwar Saga and I am on book two, Krondor Assassins of the Riftwar Legacy trilogy. Great list.
If you ever finish the Count of Monte Cristo you will scream out, Royal Assassin I see you! I have only read Farseer & Liveship but I would put Ship of Magic as her best work so far with Royal A in second place. Just ordered Blood Song from the library. You know how I feel about Daughter of the Empire & Hanuvar! 😘
Top five fantasy is tough but just shooting from the hip id have to say The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe That Hideous Strength by CS Lewis The Wise Man’s Fear by Rothfuss Another Kingdom by Andrew Klavan
You truly have a magnificent taste, dude 😙👌 Dying to hear your thoughts on the follow ups in Hanuvar and Empire!
@@stefanspandl Thank you! ohhh the Hanuvar sequel was awesome! I’m so excited for book 3.
