The volume on the right side is intended for passenger use. The driver has volume control on the wheel. The smaller screen (8"), has the button on the left side where a passenger (and driver), can easily reach it. Perfect sense.
I didn't know about the volume control on the wheel. Two volume controls, one for the driver and one for the passenger? That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the clarification. 👍👍👍
@@timothylee2772 Hey Timothy, No worries. Toyota generally (I find), have well thought out equipment touches. We once had an Echo and that had the instrument cluster centered in a pod placed in the centre of the dash. It was slewed in the direction of the driver but still fully visible to a passenger. Initially, me and my wife thought it looked very odd. However, after just a few days living with it we realized the placement was ideal. It allowed the driver to position the steering wheel where ever it was the most comfortable while never blocking the view in the least. Your information view was never compromised. And, building the cars for those countries using right-hand drive only involved slewing the cluster pod to the right with the same effect. Smart cost saving design. We both love our 2024 Prime. Have had it for three+ months and have devoured only one tank of fuel after near, 4,000Km (2500 Miles). We can run on EV only most of the time for daily chores.
idk, some of it looks cheaply made for a car that is asking over 40k but maybe im just a young boomer that expects any car costing more than 20k to be some kind of luxury or high performace vehicle.
1. inflation. 2. EV mode 3. its an investment; reliable, can last 300k+ for years... Conclusion; honestly.. 40k is good already but of course mark up from these dealers are gonna be hassle you gonna be dealing with..
Can't believe us car people are actually liking the new Prius, especially in terms of design!
Brian’s Prius looking awesome if he buys this
That volume knob😂😂😂😂😂 Everything else looks cool though...I don't know what the designers were thinking with that volume knob.😂😂😂

Boomer is right cause you're completely disconnected from current day car pricing. Can't even get a Civic for $25K
A predictable driving experience out of toyota
