I got one for you, in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, if you are defeated enough times throughout the game you will actually die and have to restart the game.
I have absolutely no idea what you mean by FFT having permadeath. All my battles have been perfect, no characters died, absolutely never ever did I lose a single character after days of leveling.
I love that you mentioned Nuzlockes, I never liked Pokemon before I learned about them but I'm close to the end of my 5th one. Hell, I love pretty much every one of these games. Is it a bad sign when you like games that kill you?
Spoiler alert for Far Cry 2 ... ... ... The really brilliant thing with the game's buddy system (where you save other mercs and they will in turn help you out if you die in battle) is that any ones that survive through the whole game will turn on you at the end, so the more that die a permadeath the easier that final bit becomes (at least as far as I can remember).
What harrowing permadeath experiences did we miss out?! (Oregon Trail, obviously)

For me, nothing tops the permadeath devastation more than RimWorld, but XCOM was definitely a close second. Awesome video, guys!
1:55 slightly wrong quotes reference made me unbelivably happy
He definitely said g-spot that time.
We definitely say g-spot every time.
XCom: Your 99% chance to hit missing... six shots in a row.
Fixed.
TFS Nuzlocke? Did not see that coming, but I like it!
TeamFourStar Pokemon nuzlocke in a TripleJump video? Talk about worlds colliding.
Such a hard mechanic to get right, but when a game company does it right it's so special👌
No Mass Effect suicide mission where you can lose all your squad.
you can actually lose everyone ?
@@iamthetable5450 yep. And if I remember correctly you can die too and you start Mass Effect 3 with a new character.
This is hilarious, well done!
Who would have thought that being hit by a car, could be reused for gaming content? xD
Also, State of decay 2's perma death is annoying too.
Damn you Peter!! now i want gingernuts and all the shops are closed!

Ghost recon wildlands ghost mode. Lol
That game "Let it die" has permadeth, unless you use real life money to buy insurance for the characters...
That's actually wrong, you can retrieve your body manually or use coins to have it sent to the freezer, neither of those things cost money.
@@Leo80221 oh really? I stopped playing the game because it seemed so desperate to get your money
