Great video. I've been trying to learn the DAZ software for a while now. Taking a while with my antiquated mind.

Michael, this is superb!!! I could not afford Aspire, and a friend of mine DOES have it, but as you mentioned I don't think I could have the patience to create in Aspire anyway!!! This makes me feel I COULD do some of the things I want to do...by the way, I was referred here by Garrett Fromme, of Cne, Routers, Beginners and Beyond on his TH-cam channel. He mentioned that YOU are HIS Mentor, so I HAD to take a look and man, am I inspired and impressed!!! Of course I subbed!!! Cheers!!!

    Hi
Maybe I’m asking a stupid question?
It’s a brilliant video. But i have downloaded the software. And I’m trying to figur it out. I have no models to choose from, to work with. I would like to work with the dog. But I cannot find any models to start with. I rather not start with buying models before i find out if i am able to use it.
Am i doing anything wrong? Or is it just a newer version of the software.
I’m trying to figure out what model that are flexible so I’m able to modify their position. What are they calling those models, like the eagle?
    Best regards
    Kent

You'll need to downland the models from your Vectric User Portal. There is a link in the software, at the top, "Help", look for "Visit Vectric User Portal". There you can download the models that come with the software.

Once downloaded you need to install them. Next click on the Clipart tab and you should see the models available in different folders.

Vcarve i have almost figured out. It’s DAZ that’s my problem. I have installed the software. I have also bought some dog models, and installed it. But i cannot find them anywhere . I don’t have the animal folder that you have. I basically only have a couple of people, clothes and accessories for them. Nothing else. Weird!

I found it to be worth less than I paid for it. My system has about 20TB of storage on it but the C:\ drive is nearly full. DAZ makes it nearly impossible to install on an alternate drive and is VERY difficult to uninstall completely. I'll pass on it.
