Just trying to share information, Ive been looking to build one for a year now and found this out...
Second, CVT has been so great to my customer service wise, they have gave me so much free stuff I LOST! So I would recommend them because of their excellent service..... OK lets talk,
Before you start building for buying a tent, overland trailer, earth roamer, or any kind of BIG purchase, from a former car dealer, watch this first.

One of the issues of the third gen roofs is that I am pretty sure there are limits to the amount of weight their roofs can support. Something to consider.
the expensive roof top tents are the same origin. then they just increased the price 5x which is very expensive.😅
I told one of my friends about this a few years ago. He was giving me crap about getting a Smitybilt one (which was pretty affordable)vs some of these super pricey high end ones. . 5 years later my Smitybilt held up just fine and I saved thousands of dollars. All the same and most is made in the same factory.
