I don't think you should call these Vlogs, not that there is anything wrong with vlogs. I watch almost all of yours and Jessica's; the vlogmas, the beans, the drywall, the cutting board, but these are executed differently, it's a docu-series, a very good one. Well done. Can't wait for the next one.
A vlog (/vlɒɡ/), also known as a video blog or video log, is a form of blog for which the medium is video. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. Seems to fit the definition of a vlog.....
Wow - this series is pure magic!! Incredible footage, awesome editing, and Tyler - the storytelling you've woven throughout is an absolute delight. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us!!
I sooo needed to hear your opening commentary regarding our commonality and differences and the beauty of travel. You may have just talked me off the ledge for the week. This series needs to be nominated for a Jammie - well- this series and the use of tiny Tyler in vlogmas.😅
Totally agree with the cascade of compliments regarding the professionalism of your video. However, I most enjoyed your ability to laugh at yourself and your fish out of water incidents. Those are the memories that stick and bring joy in the retelling. Senior traveler here.
Thanks Tyler! I’m a World History teacher and we learn a lot ancient Egypt and my students love to learn about the modern places they we learn about history. This will be helpful explaining a few things to them!
Tyler, the way you feel about Egypt is exactly how I feel about Paris. I didn't think I would ever be able to go but last year I DID (& booked thru People Mover)!!! Still hard to believe! But the way you talk about Egypt literally brings tears to my eyes. ❤
OMG can’t wait to actually watch this? My daughter has gone to work and I DARE not watch this without her! Oh well something to look forward to this evening! 🤩
I honestly thought these were gonna take as long as the yurt videos so imagine my absolute excitement when I saw they are already out!! Eek!! Can’t wait to watch tonight. 🥹
Your and Jessica’s videos are the only ones that I still consistently watch every time one is uploaded. Been watching for so long now, that it feels like I know you guys. Jessica will know what I’m talking about when I say you guys are my comfort watch! This Egypt series is stunning so far! Can’t wait for the rest! All the love ❤
THANK YOU TYLER AND JESSICA FOR YET ANOTHER BEAUTIFULLY MADE VIDEO ❤ I feel like I switched to the travel channel and was absolutely mesmerized by how wonderful this video was filmed.
I have never thought of going to Egypt. I felt like it’s too intimidating for some reason. These two videos make me feel differently about Egypt. I can’t wait for the next video!! Absolutely excellent work here Tyler!! Plus you and Jessica are so likable!
Legit, I hope you pitch this series to the Travel Channel or something like it. The quality, narration, etc. is so much better than your average TH-cam vlog. Don't get me wrong, I love a good TH-cam vlog, but this is next level. Thanks for sharing with us!
Tyler (and Jessica), I'm gong to cry, these travel videos of Egypt are mesmerizing. Honestly, I wasn't going to watch them, too predictable??? even though I've never been (I did research the King Tut info back in the 70's when it toured the US and did learn all about the Valley of the Kings, etc, fascinating). A million thank yous. Btw, Jessica your make-up AND hair looks spectacular. Blessings.
Wow oh wow!!! This is like watching the Travel and Discovery channel. I cannot wait for the next episode! Absolutely Amazing. Thank you so much for sharing!❤
This is so captivating!! I don’t think I’ve ever felt this way about anything I’ve ever watched on TH-cam!! I mean, I LOVE your Disney vlogs as well but this just a different level!! Amazing job!
WOW! I almost fell over when I saw there are 10.2 million people in Cairo. I had no idea there were that many people in ANY city. What a FEAST for the eyes❣️ The food, the drink, the nightlife! How on earth was that guy riding a bike with that large sheet pan on his head full of sandwiches?!?! The look of resignation on your face when you said, " it may look like pandemonium.....it IS!" 😂 "Walk Like An Egyptian" by the Bangles, and "Puttin On The Ritz" were the two songs playing in my mind as I watched this incredibly fascinating video. 🌮 Tuesday, and Tyler Travels TV in one day❣️ You're SPOILING us! Keep 'em coming! #HappyDance
Absolutely loving this series so far. Stunning footage and the perfect balance of vlog/talking head/documentary. Definitely giving me the itch to travel. What an incredible job you’ve done, Tyler! You should be so proud! I’ve never been to Egypt, but the videos and your description of Cairo lifestyle and traffic remind me of Bangalore, India. The most fun I had there was just observing! Looking forward to the rest of the videos! Living vicariously through you two as usual 🤣🤣
Honestly I can’t believe how far you’ve come. Tyler did you edit these? The writing, the shots. It is seriously like your show is on the travel channel! Also side note: hilarious when the pre-intro intro was so dramatic and mysterious, then cut to your insanely happy theme song 😂 just thought that was hilarious.
Such an important point about turning your data roaming on! I travel a ton for work, so I had to learn that pretty quickly. Just make sure you turn it back off once you're back in your home country, especially if you live near the border with another country.
I'm 10mins in and can't help feeling I'm watching Expedition Unknown, with the way your narrating the different clips. 😂 Our family loves watching any of Josh Gates series. Well done.😊 We came across your channel while searching TH-cam to get some ideas on sights to see for our own visit to Egypt in December.
A University should hire you as a guest speaker, Tyler, to show these vlogs and share your experiences in Egypt. The quality of your vlogs; the editing and narration, is university course material!
Love this! Love how real it is to get things wrong and feel dumb and flustered. I also clocked the lobby pianist playing the theme from Love Story… one of my favorite pieces to play! Thanks for sharing! 💜
Amazing vlogs, congratulations 😍😍 I was in Egypt in 2021., also on Nile cruise, Assuan, Gysa and Cairo, and i saw all those temples you talked about in intro. I watch you and Jessica for years and i can't wait to relive my experience in Egypt with you guys ❤😁 Hugs and kisses from Croatia 🥰
I loved the line you said at the beginning about we have more in common than what separates us! Great job! Have you ever read crocodile in the sandbank? It’s set in the late 1800s in Egypt and so well written.
Love your travel videos, Tyler, and the stories. We have all been there, being the flustered dumb tourist...by all I at least mean me 😂. Excited to see the rest of the series!
Wow Tyler, this is beautiful!!! I’m in awww of your work! On another note, I’m the idiot, not you lol! Here I am picturing sand and camels everywhere but yet, there’s an actual city 😂🤦🏼♀️ I swear I’m actually educated lol!
Jess: it’s good to Get your lay of the land, and just get a birds eye view One second later Tyler: It’s a good way to get your lay of the land and just a Birds eye view Oh men😂😂😂😂😂😂
One thing I really appreciate that you do (both of you) is you let us see when things aren't going quite as smoothly. The camera ticket issue wasn't that big a deal, but it did happen and you sharing about it makes me feel not quite so bad when I get flustered by traveling mishaps. And I totally agree with another comment made here that these should be considered a docu-series. I'm glad you paid for that camera ticket!
It was written and performed by an artist named Emily Desmond! Check her out. She wrote it for me a few years ago and I use it in my travel videos! I love it!
Worst trip I ever had. Glad you loved the honks and the polluted Nile. The pyramids were so disappointing. The food sucked. I would never recommend Egypt unless you were wealthy. Not for the faint of heart.
Did you miss Episode 1 of this Egypt series? Watch it here: th-cam.com/video/m_BbCMEoENk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=J4S1RwGBOOorbZ7D

So beautifully done all the way around. Tyler if you wrote the narration, you are superb at it.

Seems to fit the definition of a vlog.....
Agree. This is mini series 😊
The way you made this I think you could make even Dubai look interesting. And trust me, it is not hahaha
Can't agree more. This is a great docu-series. Love it so far.
As an Egyptian who have been following you and jessy for years and years, this series really hits a spot. I love seeing my country through your eyes.
The top notch cinematography is NOT going unnoticed in this series!! Fabulous work!
"We are all far more alike than we are different." Truer words have never been spoken.
Love the video. I was in Egypt over 10 years ago and your footage brings me right back. I loved the city and the people. Such a wonderful experience.
These vlogs are top notch! So professionally done - well done to you Tyler!
Glad you like them!

Jessica said all of them made her cry.

How bizarre to be in a city and see pyramids in the distance! Amazing!
Thoroughly enjoying this series Tyler!
Tyler, this video was spectacular!! Well done!!👏🏻 I cannot wait for more!

I was hoping we wouldn't have to wait too long until the next video!!

I have been looking forward to these. Wow I hope I get to visit Egypt one day.
Me every time it goes 🎶 the best is yet to come!🎶 😭😭😭😭😭 this is why we travel. To make memories with each other and grow together. The song just hits.

Ok I'm an emotional person and I've had a horrible day but still... I laughed and cried! Perfectenschlag.
Omg the song that was being played by the pianist was played at my quinceanera. 😂

As a professional photographer, the story about leaving your camera with someone else gave me anxiety!! I'm glad it all worked out!
I know, right?! 😬
love this!!
Whats the story on the theme song for rhese Tyler? Who's the singer?
I think a viewer made the song for him
I was wondering this also! Jessica, is that your amazing voice?!
It was written and performed by an artist named Emily Desmond! Check her out. She wrote it for me a few years ago and I use it in my travel videos! I love it!
@@tylertravelstv thanks Tyler! Loving your videos - you and Jessica are meant for this! 💕
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loved the vlog. Great editing, Tyler 👏🏻
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
💚💜💙
Cairo population is 22 millions in 2024
😮🎉
🐪🫏🎉
You should have Jess sing instead of whomever you're having... just saying 😂
I never have to look at currency convertirs cuz I use an index card that i make a cheat sheet. $1-$10 then $15, $20, $30 etc. Quicker to use.
Worst trip I ever had. Glad you loved the honks and the polluted Nile. The pyramids were so disappointing. The food sucked. I would never recommend Egypt unless you were wealthy. Not for the faint of heart.
Totally agree. Awful. The men are so lewd.
دفعولك كم عشان تظهر مصر كدا😂😂😂

Too overstimulating for me. :)
