Al Roker wasn’t the best interviewer but Barry is his usual eloquent self. I love this man and his music.
Barry Gib is beyond intelligent !! An artist from the core of his being, and he has had the ability to draw on everything that has passed his way and expressing it thru his music. Going all the way back from his childhood experiences, with parents contributions, not even realizing what they were giving to those boys. Also, to be with his wife 50 + is at least one legacy on it's own, especially, in the music business, along with the fact that he survived working with his brothers all those yrs. He is an example for young people to push thru and have heart, and get over YOURSELF.

Beyond intelligent, perfectly describes him. Not many like him, hate to think his time is almost over and we won't be able to here him live. What an amazing human, and he made it his goal to "be famous" and everyone is better because of him.
The legacy of the Bee Gees is that they are the greatest love-song writers of the century. "It's only WORDS, and words was what you had to take our hearts away." Love to you.

Well.. I will ,without caution, say , you have and have had incredible power over the moods anð feelings of millions of people from all over the world. From the early days of vinyl when we could only hear you, when many, due to a language difference, couldn't even understand what you were saying...to finally music videos and live concerts we could then add the visual thrill to what we had been hearing...you, the BeeGees had us captive. Your lyrics and sound could play with our psyche...in so many ways. I dont believe you ever knew just how much power you had. To the onlooker you behaved well, you never came across as disrespectful to your audience and fans and lived a life that showed us that you were people we could trust
So thank you for being genuine and decent folk that the years have proven us right in our judgment ❤ of you. Thank you for all of it, BeeGees, Barry.❤❤❤

Their legacy is all the good they did and joy they brought to so many people through their music. That’s what I’d say their legacy is. And in Barry’s case, his legacy is being a good person, and being a good example of how to live a truly great life.

Congratulations Barry? Country? I've been playing music for over 20 years? The Bee gees first horizontal that's part of my top three, of course with me it's Piper at the Gates of Dawn Pink Floyd's first album? I mean when the Bee gees first started out I do want to point out how underrated their drummer was, but the group always show respect man and he's definitely earned this? Let me thinking about taking some of these instrumentals I have piled up and sending them to different people? Barry Gibbs definitely on the list? Always looking to share my work I don't charge for it I have no interest in? Having to deal with the commerciality of it, today I'm not really turning the radio on, I haven't turned the radio on in speaking in terms of commercial music in over 20 years, but I cannot believe how much success Barry Gibb has actually received with his album I just went over to check out greenfields it's very well produced, I like the sound of it I like the construction of the record, congratulations that's all I wanted to say.

The Bee Gees as a group sadly ended with Maurice. Barry and Robin never performed together again except occasionally and for charity events.
