@Porch Critic That's true. It made me sad at the part where he says, "I don't know why I'm the only one left." Barry's here to keep touching the lives of others. He matters! :D
I saw him at the Hollywood Bowl in 2014 and he was amazing. I became emotional when they played a video of Robin singing "I Started A Joke" for a few lines and then Barry sang the rest live. My favorite Bee Gee's song.
All the fans of the BeeGees from the late 60s are still fans to this day 4-7-2024. Barry Gibb is 78 and still performing. He was my first girll crush in 1969. Im 64, now and I listen to BGs daily to keep the memories flowing. And thats no, 'Jive Talkin.'
he is still young, his brothers passed away way to young. Be strong Barry and keep doing what you do. The world loves you. God bless you and your family.
Barry doesn't look ridiculous like a lot of those old pop stars who won't give it up; probably because he's a true, gifted, genuine talent. I'm glad he decided to share his legacy with us once again.
I'm not a singer. But I know how he feels. I'm the last of my immediate family. Lost my last sibling in December. I'm still dealing with it. Depression is real when your alone. I pray for Barry he's such a important part of society. His music helps people like me. Funny thing Barry and I are the same age.
This actually brings tears to my eyes. There are still two Beatles left. But there's just only one Bee Gee left. The Beatles were just friends. The Bee Gees are brothers, bonded by blood. And if you ever had a brother you would know how Barry felt when they all left this world. And they are also bonded by their musical accomplishment which is indeed one of the best during the last century. The one in which my generation was born into this world.

Nights on Broadway, Spirits Having Flown, More Than A Woman, Tragedy, Fanny Be Tender, Love You Inside Out, For Whom The Bell Tolls and all the other magnificent songs they envisioned, wrote, arranged, produced and performed, Thank you to all the Gibb’s ❤
Barry Gibb is never alone. He embodies all the eloquence of life that poverty or fame or being bullied despite being truly dangerously handsome before I was old enough to recognize it. God bless him now and always!
You have been, and always will be LOVED. Thank you for the decades of love that all of you "The Bee Gee's," have poured out on all of US through your soul lifting music. God bless. Z28-310.
My heart goes out to him. The music they created together has defined our generation and will live on forever. But, the Bee Gee's were more than a band or a songwriting team. They were flesh and blood brothers - family. And that separates them from all the rest. I'm one of four siblings and I lost my younger brother a few years ago. It cut me deeply, so I have an idea of the amount of the pain Barry must be feeling. I don't know how it's emotionally possible to go on after losing all of your younger siblings. The music they created together is undeniable and will go down in history.
i know that and it cause not happen to much and also bother me too is barry mum also lost most of her sons and that is almost unherd of too. but RIP Bee gees Mum -Barbara and also RIPP robin, mo, and andy too i and we all missed you all...
It must be hard, but I think he knows it would be with their blessing as music has been all their lives..I think it keeps him going tbh and it does honour their memory too. I believe they would be smiling down on him 🙏🙂

My mom and I loved The Bee Gees. I’m sad to see the last of The Bee Gees but so happy for him that he is able to sing so perfectly !! I’ll always be a fan 💕
Yes. Most people don't know that it gets harder and harder when you get older. It's like doing workout... So I always have great respect for "older singers"...
M mmm You are so right, respect them for getting up there to continue entertaining us. Bob Seger is my fav, he can't move like he used to and I don't care, I still love to see him in concert. Barry Gibb is Fantastic.
That’s sad that Robin could not see his dream came true. That success of that magnitude is rare. So glad Barry feels their/ his dream came true!!! So heartwarming
That's the beauty of having a loving supportive wife who's been there since day one she wanted him to go back out there and she helped him go back out and do what him and his brothers iconically did for many years
Barry is a living legend and he's someone you can feel proud about supporting because he's such a good person too. I'm so grateful he's still here and bringing joy to the masses with his incredible voice! Yes Barry we still care!!!!
so touching; could not hold tears! knowing how Robin felt after Maurice loss; the effort he was making to try and continue performing with Barry; and how Barry felt after the loss of Maurice and then Robin.
@Barbara Synder : Same here.I wish he come to my country ,Malaysia after the COVID-19,and perform there. And i want to meet him in person..capture a photo moment with him.
Life had to accept the fact. But we unable to live forever but memories is forever. We always remember bee gee bring lot of joy to people. Thank you for all beautiful song that we appreciate
As a retired performer, I can tell you that the love from the audience really feeds your soul, no matter what. Once you've got the audience rooting for you, you feel this actual wave of energy, love maybe, but for sure they root for your success. It's a heady feeling, rather addictive and a phenomenon that you don't get anywhere else in your life. I'm old now, but I sure wish I could go back in time and be on that stage where a standing ovation was everything. Now my two children are that.
That elation, joy, and affirmation you've experienced on-stage is but a tiny foretaste of what awaits those who have resisted sin and who have trusted Christ Jesus to deliver them into an eternity with Him. "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalms16:11, and "In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10
i had 2 brothers that died and we all sang together as a family so i get it....and you are right it will always hurt......i am almost 70 and i cried today....i cried watching this video.....i cry a lot.....i miss them a lot.....the pain in my heart is so bad and the knots in my throat wont let me swallow.......but God died so we all may see each other again and never be separated again.....
yes....i had written in another post about the sont IN THE LIVING YEARS by Mike and the Mechanics that he wrote the song after he was on a plane flying to see his father to mend their broken hearts about something between them but on his way he got the message that his father passed before he could get there so he wrote the song....say what you need to say to your loved ones before it is too late....in the living years....many of us i'm sure have had things like this happen to us and our loved ones ..my brother tried to call me to ask for forgiveness before he died but i didnt get the message til too late......but we loved each other but i wish we could have gotten things said before it was too late....and for Barry i wish him the best and he must know all would have been forgiven and he as i must remember the love....

Hard to hold the tears back, he's so brave to go back on stage without the only thing he knew by his side, together making beautiful music & memories for him & us their followers.
Emma Ryder You nailed it Emma. Much like the Beatles did a couple of years earlier, the Bee Gees ruled pop radio with beautiful tunes & harmonies. May the twins rest in peace forever.
Robin and "I started a joke" belongs in the music hall of fame. Get it done, barry. That piece of music is unmatched In lyrics and robin's performance. He was such an unassuming and amazing talent. The music just effortlessly flowed out of him. Everytime I hear this masterpiece, it absolutely breaks me. Of course 90% of this I attribute to robin's genius In performing and delivery with his haunting and unforgettable voice. There's no one like him. I wish he could have enjoyed How much we all appreciated what he gave us musically. His voice triggers something Inside us when he starts singing and it makes us pay attention to what is happening. It's that ' robin' voice, so full of emotion and pure musical genius, and it makes you pay Attention to what is happening Because you haven't heard anything like it, because there is nothing like it. Robin stood alone with that magical voice of his. Thank you. 😢rip

You're not alone Barry, so many people think of you each and every day. Ride it till the wheels fall of pal!
Love the style, songs, & especially The Bee Gees, their songs will live on forever in our hearts!
Their voices together is wonderful.
Hello dear, how are you doing, how is the weather today, can we be friend if you don't mind?
I love the Bee Gees, nobody harmonised like those guys or gave us such magnificent soundtrack to the 70’s, in which they totally owned, I still have all their original records and iTunes, I wish Barry all the best for the future, I’d like to thank Barry, Maurice and Robin for..
Barry keeps his brothers alive in his heart while he performs on stage
oh yes
Barry Gibb is never alone. He embodies all the eloquence of life that poverty or fame or being bullied despite being truly dangerously handsome before I was old enough to recognize it. God bless him now and always!
Hello 👋
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
No one else ever sang like Bee Gees.Thank you Guys for the best music in my life and I'm sure million s of others
Hello 👋
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
You have been, and always will be LOVED.
Thank you for the decades of love that all of you "The Bee Gee's," have poured out on all of US through your soul lifting music.
God bless. Z28-310.
Felt intense sadness watching this but also grateful Barry is still with us and that his son and niece are there to lend support.
The bee gees to me was one of the best bands to be on stage. I know he misses his brothers they were side by side for years
Love you my friend!
yes .. they were and is my best group of all time ...
My husband is the last of his family living. He completely understands Barry’s pain and grief. He’s been the last standing since 2012 like Barry
The last BeeGees is the oldest of the BeeGees.
It’s even eerie to think that the way the Gibb Brothers die starting from the youngest first.
Come 2025 all we'll have is Lesley.
None
Vader Tom, lwas thinking the same.
i know that and it cause not happen to much and also bother me too is barry mum also lost most of her sons and that is almost unherd of too. but RIP Bee gees Mum -Barbara and also RIPP robin, mo, and andy too i and we all missed you all...
... That's what i thought!
You're right Barry. The pain doesn't go away but at least you have those wonderful memories. Stay strong.
I understand. My wife Rose and me danced to their music. Unttil she passed away. 3 month's ago
@@raymondsoto2035 I'm really sorry for your loss.
@@tapnomis thank you
so so true ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ so sad always .
@Hammerschlägen M its not easy
So sad, imagine how he feels singing in the stage without his brothers. It's breaking heart.
It's got to be gut wrenching. Sometimes when he talk about them he'll choke up and tears come to my eyes. He loved them so much and they loved him.
It must be hard, but I think he knows it would be with their blessing as music has been all their lives..I think it keeps him going tbh and it does honour their memory too. I believe they would be smiling down on him 🙏🙂
My favorite band of all time! Beautiful people. Barry has a great sense of humor. I cried and laughed during this interview. Beautiful families as well. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world!
In these dark times you still bring light.May God's grace always be with you.
The Bee Gees will 4ever be "Stayin' Alive" in OUR hearts & lifetimes!!!🙋🏾♀️💓🤗
Barry...my heart has been touched by the voice of yours and your brothers. How lucky I feel to have my ears embraced by your music...always the energy of love.

So touching interview
I never cried before a celebrity down to earth humble
My mom and I loved The Bee Gees. I’m sad to see the last of The Bee Gees but so happy for him that he is able to sing so perfectly !! I’ll always be a fan 💕
Hello Julie
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
For a man who is over 70 years old, he can sing really well.

Yes. Most people don't know that it gets harder and harder when you get older.
It's like doing workout...
So I always have great respect for "older singers"...
M mmm
You are so right, respect them for getting up there to continue entertaining us.
Bob Seger is my fav, he can't move like he used to and I don't care, I still love to see him in concert.
Barry Gibb is Fantastic.
He looks great too
That’s sad that Robin could not see his dream came true. That success of that magnitude is rare. So glad Barry feels their/ his dream came true!!! So heartwarming
Hello dear, how are you doing, how is the weather today, can we be friend if you don't mind?
Bee gees obtained worldwide fame and reputation, I'm sure Robin saw his dream come true.
Grief is the price we pay for having loved someone. It ok to cry when you watch this. :0)
Thinking of losing my CAT brings me to tears. I can't handle loss.
Dave Shuttleworth Beautiful words Dave. Total respect to you.

Grief is just love with nowhere to go. Crying is only testament of this to me.
Thanks for your wisdom
I am so glad to see Barry sing again, accept his past, and go on with the love of his lost brothers!
Came across this clip by accident, a moving moment. I don't think that I could be that strong if I had lost all my siblings. God bless you, Barry.
That's the beauty of having a loving supportive wife who's been there since day one she wanted him to go back out there and she helped him go back out and do what him and his brothers iconically did for many years
I miss Robin and Morris so much but am grateful for Barry. I love these guys.
Barry is a living legend and he's someone you can feel proud about supporting because he's such a good person too. I'm so grateful he's still here and bringing joy to the masses with his incredible voice! Yes Barry we still care!!!!
Hello Tonya
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
so touching; could not hold tears! knowing how Robin felt after Maurice loss; the effort he was making to try and continue performing with Barry; and how Barry felt after the loss of Maurice and then Robin.
Ohhh Good Grief
Kelly Hebert stfu
Kelly Hebert Oh my god, some people are such whiners aren't they?
I would give my eye teeth to actually meet Barry Gibb. He's the only famous person I would really love to see in person.
You have great taste :)
Hello Brabara Snyder. How are you doing?
@Barbara Synder : Same here.I wish he come to my country ,Malaysia after the COVID-19,and perform there. And i want to meet him in person..capture a photo moment with him.
Amazing

"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalms16:11, and
"In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10

i had 2 brothers that died and we all sang together as a family so i get it....and you are right it will always hurt......i am almost 70 and i cried today....i cried watching this video.....i cry a lot.....i miss them a lot.....the pain in my heart is so bad and the knots in my throat wont let me swallow.......but God died so we all may see each other again and never be separated again.....
That was a very sweet comment. I miss my dad too, so much, but I'll always cherish my moments with him.
yes....i had written in another post about the sont IN THE LIVING YEARS by Mike and the Mechanics that he wrote the song after he was on a plane flying to see his father to mend their broken hearts about something between them but on his way he got the message that his father passed before he could get there so he wrote the song....say what you need to say to your loved ones before it is too late....in the living years....many of us i'm sure have had things like this happen to us and our loved ones ..my brother tried to call me to ask for forgiveness before he died but i didnt get the message til too late......but we loved each other but i wish we could have gotten things said before it was too late....and for Barry i wish him the best and he must know all would have been forgiven and he as i must remember the love....

Hard to hold the tears back, he's so brave to go back on stage without the only thing he knew by his side, together making beautiful music & memories for him & us their followers.
yes
2023 and people still care about him and their music
His son is in music, niece is in music, yet we only know about him, his music, his talents, a true legend!!!
Don't forget about Robin's sons Spencer and R.J.
GOD bless them all.
Bee gees is the best. Still in 2019 😍
Still in 2020......for ever!
Dont forget the Queen
Keep it going Barry, the Bee Gees will NEVER be forgotten, one of the best bands ever!!♡
Emma Ryder You nailed it Emma. Much like the Beatles did a couple of years earlier, the Bee Gees ruled pop radio with beautiful tunes & harmonies. May the twins rest in peace forever.
You never see Barry alone... his brother’s presence can always be felt ❤❤
Robin and "I started a joke" belongs in the music hall of fame. Get it done, barry. That piece of music is unmatched
In lyrics and robin's performance. He was such an unassuming and amazing talent. The music just effortlessly flowed out of him.
Everytime I hear this masterpiece, it absolutely breaks me. Of course 90% of this I attribute to robin's genius
In performing and delivery with his haunting and unforgettable voice. There's no one like him.
I wish he could have enjoyed
How much we all appreciated what he gave us musically. His voice triggers something
Inside us when he starts singing and it makes us pay attention to what is happening.
It's that ' robin' voice, so full of emotion and pure musical genius, and it makes you pay
Attention to what is happening
Because you haven't heard anything like it, because there is nothing like it. Robin stood alone with that magical voice of his. Thank you. 😢rip
He's got my vote for the 'hall' ,
It's a no-brainer.
This brought me to tears.

Absolutely
algrho yes we care

Soundtrack of times when bands could actually play instruments and write songs...priceless
Very much love them all to the moon and back..❤❤❤
"I don't know why I am the only one left". That must be sad.
yes, I 'm sure. But on the other hand he did have his brothers all those times.
No matter what, how, where. In the end , the truth of life - It's always alone in the end to the end..
@@vajraayudha5062 Totally agree with you. The older you get, the more alone you become, because everybody around you dies. Nothing great about growing old.

It makes me sad. I'm the last one in my family. 🙁🙁
you carrying on is the statement that although you are the last one left continue your passion for the kids of you and your brothers and 🤩will never let the bee gees legendary status disappear😘😘
Omg this was so emotional! I don't buy anyone's concert tickets. Except Celine Dion.... But I'll buy a ticket for the honor to see Barry live. Please continue. RIP, Gibb brothers! I love Barry and have for decades.
Their mother, Barbara Gibb, _who buried three sons and a husband_, finally passed on, herself, on Aug 13, 2016, at the age of 95.
WOW!God Speed Mrs.Gibb!!Thank you!
Yosen B. Mamma Oh, how precious.
Yosen B. Mamma Does anyone know if Barry Gibb is the last surviving Gibb in his family. I thought he had a sister and if so is she still alive?
I DID NOT KNOW BARBARA PASSED AWAY!!!!😬

Some of my most treasured memories revolve around the time when The Bee Gees were at their peak. The music became a part of me.
I understand some of what Barry feels losing my family. It’s so lonely without them…. 💜
