    MY MIND IS BLOWN! I seriously want to thank Professor Jono Buchanan and the Guildhall Schools Electronic Music Department for their efforts to help others via youtube, for people like me who cant afford more education but want to learn. You could have chose to charge for this seminar, but chose not to. I wish I had known these simple tools years ago. I have been doing things the hard way for so long, unnecessarily creating an overwhelming workload. Which at times makes me procrastinate finishing projects. Not only was it extensively informative, but this video and presentation were produced with outstanding professional quality. The audio and visual kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. I couldn't stop rewinding so I could take notes and get screenshots. A+ work IMO. I will share this video to others in the future.

    • @xaosnox
      @xaosnox 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Agreed! I think it's wonderful that people share their expertise. There is enough money being made in the industry that it can afford to water a few seeds. It kind of makes me sick that guys like Chris Lord Alge won't do anything that doesn't put money in their pockets, and they'll happily put their names on a bunch of plugins that they would never even use just to line their already fat pockets. The "industry" has pretty much killed music. IME, the most talented people came from very modest means. If I went to audition a band and saw a giant drum cage and a guitar player with a full stack and a half in their practice room, it was a pretty good chance they were a band with whom I wouldn't want to sing.

    When I started using Logic Pro X, I PAID good $$$ for courses that weren't as well presented and as thorough as this is. What an amazing job he has done. What a great gift to the community of musicians and producers that are learning their craft. I found tips and techniques in this seminar that are useful even to advanced users.

  • @LoganFreund

    I use Logic every day, and while I don't nearly consider myself a pro, I know my way around it pretty well. That being said, there have always been parts of Logic that I've just pretended don't exist, so I don't have to figure them out! This is incredibly useful for anyone looking to hone their Logic prowess or just realize they've been doing things the hard way for years. This is seriously good stuff.

    Great teacher and musicians !!!
    You have shown that you can work very well with LOGIC PRO X without adding PLUG INs from other companies.
    I think that LOGIC PRO already offers everything you need but you have to learn how to use it as you have taught.
    If the BEATLES and ROLLING STONES had had LOGIC PRO 25 years ago they would have thanked !!!!!
    We are all looking forward to other TUTORIALS to investigate other aspects as well.

    Excellent presentation. Really surprised that Part 2 has a million fewer views. Both parts are really good. I've been using eMagic (Logic) since it was on an Atari, and found new tricks and work flows. Thank you.

    This is an amazingly well-done tutorial. Really clear explanation, real-world examples, and a great balance of Logic-specific details and general music/recording context. Thanks for putting this out there!

    Absolutely love this video! I've been watching tons of tutorials, and only know the basics. This opened me up to different work flows and showed me the simpler ways of doing things that usually seemed meticulous.

    This video (together with part 2) was a *fantastic* kickstarter. I'm new to Logic (but somewhat familiar with analog mixers for recording and live sound) but after first watching this, and then playing with the software for only half a day, I really feel that I'm on top of things. Much quicker than expected. Thank you very much.
