I realy like some of your spreads. I hardly adopt any, but some of them I will try for sure. Your version of the cross with using elements is fantastic, love it 💕
Really enjoyed this whistle stop tour that has given me ideas to develop on the celtic cross as that's all I ever really use and have been doing so for over 20 years.
I love your version of the Celtic cross! Thank you for sharing. Also I have a Yorkie who doesn’t want anyone to exist in our hallway, so I love that your dog barked 💖
I love different spreads for different questions. Celtic cross (10 cards) for a specific question with advice seeking. Zodiac spread (12 cards) when some is asking about their social life / relationships. Circle spread (9 cards) for nonspecific direction seeking. Planetary spread (7 cards) when I need to be a bit more concise than the circle spread allows. I’ve never tried the free-form reading but it’s something I’m interested in trying by the end of this year! For myself I three card read every morning (yesterday evening/day of/evening of)
I use your as above so below positions as strengths and weaknesses, but only because no matter what spread or reading I do I ALWAYS pull the top card of the deck and the bottom card of the deck after I'm done laying the cards out and read them accordingly. It's so nice to see positions like that incorporated in spreads because I never really hear other tarot readers talk about it, but those cards always hold valuable information (sometimes they're the most important cards for me). Very nice 9 card spread and I love using it :)
I used to almost always free form my readings, still do depending on the situation but it was approaching Lenormand that was a game changer for me. That led me to a more structured way of reading.
Always love your LIBRA spirit & the way you create any of knowledgeable stuff...whether it's any detailed review of any deck or about spreads....I am also LIBRA.❤️
Wow. This is a really great tutorial. I like your different versions of your of the spreads are amazing. Thank you for sharing. Blessed be and well met.
Hi Kelly, that was exceptionally helpful, thank you. I often just gently shuffle the cards with something on my mind but not necessarily articulated, and soon enough a card or three will drop out of the group and offer a message. Something I like to do with oracle cards generally but as my studies continue with tarot I love the three card spread, sometimes expanding to a nine card eruption ;) after drawing several additional qualifier cards . Much love, Janis PS: Love your "long-winded" ramblings :)
The star spread from the spiritsong deck is my new favorite. I rarely use spreads from whitebooks though. I started with celtic cross and still use it. I picked up this habit of looking to the bottom card of the deck. Some call it the shadow card. I like to do 2 card spread with oracles. The first card from the top, and the second card from the bottom.
Aw, well that you so much and thank you so much for taking the time to watch and your lovely supportive comments! And I definitely agree, it looks gorgeous doesn't it??
Loved every second of this video! I love using different spreads depending on the reading.... Agreed on the 1 or 2 cards, I generally use 3 or more cards for readings....
Your 9-card elemental spread has been my 'go--to' spread ever since I first saw it. Do you ever have to pull more clarifying cards with that spread? I've been adding a small action step and a shadow card too, which seems to work well for people. Thank you so much Kelly!
I really like your 9 card spread, what do the "as above and so below positions" mean? Would they always be strength/weakness? As always, thank you for your content.
My birthday is 11/22/1995. Those digits added up is 2028, and those digits added up is 12. I looked up what is the 12 th card in the tarot deck and it's the hangman, which I find halarious because it comes up in a lot of reading for me. My friend got me into tarot cards and that was the first card to show up in a reading.
"Get your cards on the table"!! I agree, you can have all of the decks and books in the world but the real fun is in actual card slinging! :-) I mentioned in the live chat that I guessed you as the Queen of Swords so if you did take a Meyers Briggs quiz (I've found the quick and simple ones pretty effective) I'm wondering what your personality type was? In my associations the Queen of Swords is the Mastermindwhich is INTJ (and also Eminem in my deck 😮😉). Ok I meant to type Mastermind and why auto correct turned into a manwhich is weird but funny enough to let stand. I loved this video! I work with spreads a lot and this was great info and gave me some great ideas... thank you!!!
That makes sense! The INTP in my courts is the page of swords, or The Architect and I used Einstein. With your love of learning and mastering systems and structures I can see that just as easily as the queen!!
Loved it - great video! I wish you could talk more about what you believe happens when you open a "position" in a spread. Do you think it's law of attraction that pulls the right card to that spot? Is it our projection of getting the relevant message from the position/card? Is it our subconscious, higher self talking? I have a big problem with positions in general. I somehow always think Spirit wants to say what it want to say, and my job is to listen, not to put limitations on the answer. But I'm warming up to all of this! :) You are the bomb. xoxoxo
All of those questions of what happens when you place a position or not are ones that are going to be different to every person that you ask. If you are opening the reading to what Spirit or guides or the higher self has to say, in terms of positions, I feel they would have no issue getting their messages across and the positions just serve to narrow the scope of the message down to what you are trying to work through. For me, positions provide a framework and another level of meaning, like houses in Lenormand. There is an added level of synchronicity for when a position and a specific card come together and create a message together that then works with the greater whole of the reading, like pieces clicking into place. The way that I read, it doesn't matter, really, what card comes into what position because the message is in me, in my subconscious, down in the roots of the collective unconscious where we are all connected and the cards serve as triggers and short cuts to that message and any card in any position has SOMETHING to say and what rises to the surface is what needs to rise to the surface. Which likely makes little sense :D It is enough for me to know that when I lay cards on the table with a question hovering over them, helpful messages and information come to the surface. For YOU, positions may be limiting, they are for some people, so finding what shortcuts you into the roots of the tree or into the arms of Spirit is the most important thing! ::HUGS::
Also, went to your link for the playlist and a bunch of your videos are either private or removed. Do you still have your nine card spread video somewhere?
That's an interesting way to do the birth card. I'm used to seeing adding the singular digits but I'm going to try both to see what comes up for me. I often get the lovers card in my readings for myself so I just gravitate to it. Question: with the cross card would you read it as a reversal since it lies down? I've always been intimidated by this spread but you helped me understand it better.
Think of the significator as ADDING a card to the spread, and in fact adding perhaps the most relevant card (YOU!) to the spread, rather than removing one.
hello! im a beginner in tarot and i've been following your videos for awhile now. i wanted to ask if there's any books you'd recommend about numerology in tarot? thank you so much!
Carolina Carvalho the first book I got on tarot was actually a tarot numerology book and it’s fabulous! It’s called Numerology and the Devine Triangle and it goes in depth not only on the basics of numerology but also the numerological essence of every card.
The spread you have made 11:43 into the clip cant be found in the link. Well I cant find it anyway :) Pls help, id like to try it out, and it looks really great.
Duda Aw no those were a gift from Patrick! He and his wife have a shop, I’m not sure if those are sold on their online shop or not! squareup.com/store/a-little-mad
My real fear is when I need to connect the cards in bigger spreads like 9 card spreads specially when it comes to relationships. for example, a client asks if their partner cheats on them and then the cards come out not give me the answer, Then I have to pull more and the result i am lost…
I love your version of the Cross Spread. I'm going to make note of that. Thanks for sharing it!
I like it too. I belive you can use diffrent cards, specialy cool. Spreads with elements are realy great!
I realy like some of your spreads. I hardly adopt any, but some of them I will try for sure. Your version of the cross with using elements is fantastic, love it 💕

I love your version of the Celtic cross! Thank you for sharing. Also I have a Yorkie who doesn’t want anyone to exist in our hallway, so I love that your dog barked 💖
The way you explain every spread, really helps to remember it, without having to memorize. Thanks for the video, really helpful. I loved it

Perfect! Makes sense if that is something that you are always looking at, then they should have those spaces all the time! Love it :D
LOVE THIS...made something click for me. Thank you.

Aw, well that you so much and thank you so much for taking the time to watch and your lovely supportive comments! And I definitely agree, it looks gorgeous doesn't it??
I love that you gave a lot of examples for the 3 card reading ^^
Good advice ...I like the 9 card idea because I get clients who have no specific question
Wow! Thanks so much for adding to my spreads list :) Gives me new ones to try out! Great video!

Thank you for another really great video.
You are very welcome, thank you so much for taking the time to watch!
Good video Thank you
Hi! Can you please explain the concept of as above and as below that you put in your spread? Thanks!
Oh cool! Can't wait to watch later 😊

Really helpful. Ty
Wow, I was just rambling about it in my weekly journaling and this video came up 💜💜 thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome, glad we could synchronize ramble :D

Beautiful deck, can I know the name of the deck please

Conscious and subconscious I think

veronica jude Aha I did take a full test and I am The Logician INTP :D
That makes sense! The INTP in my courts is the page of swords, or The Architect and I used Einstein. With your love of learning and mastering systems and structures I can see that just as easily as the queen!!
That's cool! The ENFP in my courts is The Champion or traditionally the knight of cups and I chose Robin Williams. ❤❤❤
veronica jude Hi Veronica! Who is the Advocate? I got INFJ-A/-T... Help...:) Thanks!
Ooh!! I'm INFJ and for me that is the Queen of Cups... the Mystic/Counselor in my deck. ❤️❤️❤️
