the problem was that they anticipated the 12000 backers getting it so they could afford to get a server that can hold 30000 players. 70000 players bought the game day 1 and they literally couldn't handle it.

Why can't we have a Jurassic Park game like this? For years I've been telling my friends that they need to take the survival elements from Alien Isolation, set the game on Isla Nublar or Sorna, add in all dinosaurs, and make the game co-cop. That's a recipe for a killer game.

That actually had very little to do with the plan of the games life planned by the developers, Gun/ill knew about lawsuit far in advance, and just used it as an excuse to save face for being extremely lazy.

I mean, I guess I get it. I'd give Earth Defense Force a 7/10 but it's also some of the most fun I've ever had in a game series.
And rightfully so. To be fair, if I had to fault Asura's Wrath for anything, it's that it locked its true ending behind a paywall. Otherwise, it was simply the most AWESOME QTE EVER!!!

Dude i was watching one stream and this very obviously young kid was playing as Jason breathing "HRRR HRR" into the microphone, shit was soooo funny. Had the streamer and everybody laughing cause he was so into it and still killing the counselors XD

exactly, especially for a multiplayer game where individual experiences can be vastly different just from matchmaking. just because someone's having fun with a game doesn't eliminate or negate the obvious issues, there are let's players who've built a career around making garbage games entertaining, doesn't make them good games

I'd like to say when AngerBeard was the Sack Jason, he was talking and behaving like a fusion parody between Sloth from Goonies, JarJar from Star Wars, and a little bit of Yoshi and Barney. Which not only was over the top Fucking Funny but to me made sense considering how Malformed Jason was getting MetallSwede.
But honestly, to me it should be alot more like what Jason is otherwise saying in his head when he's thinking and to me Joe Fucking Nailed It! Obviously he's part Undead and almost always "Angry" and anything done to provoke, distract, or make his job any harder and he'll throw a Enraged TemperTantrum until he finally gets hold of his pray! Otherwise I nearly lost it when Joe said "My Mother used to burn me with Fireworks." I wandered if that could be Cannon considering how Miss Voorhees is connected with the overall plot of the series and Jason's upbringing!

This game came out 4 years ago? Damn. I was 13. Sad to see how this game came short, it was so much fun in the time when it was regularly updated and new content was coming. They even had roadmaps which most other companies dont give out to their players. This game could have been so much more

I know this game could've been more polished but, I for one am so excited that we're getting games that are totally different from the same boring trend of fps games every fucking year. This game feels like evolve to me just running back and forth and back and forth with fun moments but there too far apart and on Xbox no one talks at all and the servers are buggy as shit and it's bullshit how you can morph and grab someone instantly and there's no defense against this also there's a huge lack of content 4/10 when there's more maps modes conslors Jason's remove the grab ability as I've seen 1 person only use the melee weapon not including me fix the glitches and serves then it's a 7/10

This game is so stupidly fun. It's so ridiculous, but a blast to play. Sometimes I let my character die by just turning on a radio and dance until Jason finds me.
Wow this is what i dont get. Audiences are upset at joe saying he's not making enough reviews but this argument was debunked. Now they use the argument about the quality of the videos dropping for months or even years yet no ones spoken up, based on the comments on this year's game review videos. In addition, there's a LOT of people liking his videos than disliking. So if it's not the quantity or the quality then what's the reason people are upset? The people who are upset have the evidence stacked against them. They were just influenced by the other negative comments and cant think for themselves to disagree and see the evidence for themselves. AND there should be no way that people cant just avoid watching the movie reviews if they dont like it.

I feel that Friday the 13th is a more effective game than Dead by Daylight. This game has a better premise, better character designs, more effective scenery, more of an impact on the players as they play the game, and the better multi-player mode.

My issue with F13 is that being a counselor feels so unfair. If you encounter Jason first and didn’t get a pocket knife you’re instantly screwed and that 10 minutes you waited to get in the lobby is wasted because of luck.
They should do a dlc where Jason is hunted down by Karens. Pure terror,

My god. When will youtubers understand no one like to hear their high pitched screams when watching a video? If the entire video is screaming, sure. But it's a review with mostly just talking. So I have to turn it up. Sudden screams are annoying.
+headbite alien, It's an option usually available for your sound driver interface (but can be found in Windows control panel as well) which normalizes the volume so you don't get too loud or too silent sounds. Google is your friend :)

I've noticed that whenever there's an error on Joe's reviews its always related to the internet somehow and it always says the same thing.
"Session heartbeat failure! Verify internet connectivity."
This game is an absolute blast even with all of it's problems. The feeling when counselors manage to outwit Jason and escape can't be beat.

The worst thing about the game is that its PtoP connexion and has *no* host migration when he leaves.
How many times I played Jason and so happened to kill the host first, resulting in him rage quitting and ending the game for all of us.
Now I realised that people (myself included) tend to avoid the host like the plague when playing as Jason...

Leroy, I do recommend it. Its one of the most fun experiences I had in a multiplayer game (when it works).
So many things are just poor about the game:
Some glitches
Really long matchmaking time
Host quits... The list goes on.
But when the game works as intended, its *sooooooooooo* much fun.
I would say get it if you know you have the patience for some of the problems. Otherwise maybe wait for a price drop. The good thing is, the game can only get better from here.

As of now they've improved the game quite a bit. They've even added some free maps, more characters, rain, a new Jason, and some other things to make the gameplay better sometimes as well as finding parts to the boat and cars. Even removing betrayal (thankfully). The only way I know you can get betrayed is by getting run over or shot when Jason is holding you.

Nope, LJN had a feeling it was them. And it wasn't the worst game, just pretty bad.

it was pretty bad, only way to destroy jason is you need beat his mom (floating head) in forest to get pitchfork. I rented this as kid and beat it pretty quickly i return the game same day got something else

I remember the way Friday was like before,and when you compare it to Friday of today with a retro jason,the small maps,part 4 Jason with Jarvis map and rain,offline bots,Halloween and summer break outfits and now recently a part 5 roy and Pinehurst map with a Jason buff for all Jasons,all goes to show that Gunmedia is really showing that they will turn an already fun game into an amazing awesome fun game. My opinion,Friday the 13th the game today is well worth an 8,9 or a 10 out of 10 percentage.
I am enjoying this game, but sometimes playing as Jason isn't fun when you play against a group who just go at you like an angry mob, not gibing you the chance to kill anyone.
Do the weapons have unlimited durability or something?

MbossKdawg -Vlogs and Games Still; £30/$40 is ALOT of money for a game like this. I think it's a decent game just too expensive and if you look up some community feedback/ reviews the developers are treating some playing like shit and banning them over nothing

The funniest glitch I ever saw was on a stream by a group called Pixel Brains, and one of the co-hosts was Jason, and he grabbed a player and was going to execute him when the player suddenly clipped out of his grasp and ran away, and Jason was left there frozen in his grasping animation, unable to do anything while the counselors all ran for the exit. The chat spent the next ten minutes making up excuses as to why Jason felt the need to freeze in place, ranging from trying to Force choke the counselors to miming that he was holding a cup of tea to delivering a soliloquoy.
You know the Teleportation Makes sense since in the Freddie vs Jason vs Ash comics, Jason was brought back from the dead thanks to the Necronomicon.

They would obviously go the survival horror route and honestly do you really think it would be scary playing a game where you basically play hide and seek with chucky?
