I prefer the percussion kit coz its unique and I'm a percussionist. You get a creative set up with great sound. I use a Meinl travel cajon as the snare and the pearl boom box for d bass along with d crash n splash cymbals.
Interesting. In this setting I feel the music was served far better by the trap kit. Bigger fuller sound, somehow more appropriate. In this setting to me at least the percussion set seemed a weak substitute. I would prefer to see the "percussion" kit in a style of music perhaps more suited to its strengths as this to me was an "apples to oranges" situation where the music was looking for apples.
I want to make a small percussion kit for my church. We currently have an electronic drum kit (i hate electric kits) but theres no room for a full accoustic drum kit
Well... Why would you get a "percussion kit" if you play it as a drum kit? Play it without the pedal and the hi hat, put some jam blocks and shakers and you will start play your percussion kit as a percussion kit.
ikr if he want to have a quote "percusion fell" than why didnt he use a lot more cowbell and stuff cause all he did was use the cajon as bas and hit an hi hat
Awesome! hi-hats sound exceptionally crisp
Amazing Set much love.
Amazing demo

Have you done this? I'm considering the same. I want to know if it works well.
I think it's the 'jingle snare' by toca percussion
Caixa de quantas polegadas?
Basically, he only played rim shots , hi-hat and the tambourine. Expected more.
I don't like people like you because you don't know how hard it is to play some of that stuff
@@lifeofbrynn7922 he is saying that there was a lot of that
Nice, I would like to know what wood block you are using, Thanks Guy
Can u share the details of the backing track? Thanks
Como encuentro el pedal de cajon peruano??

What did he use as a snare for the percussion kit?

What model is the snare of the percussion kit

I think that you can't seperate being a drummer from being a percussionist unless of all the instruments you play
The kit has percussion, but it isnt very percussion of the kit itself.

Amazing bro can you please help me by percussion kit I am from Sri Lanka
Cajun bass drum sounds better because it's deeper.

Nice comparison. Not...
Exactly. All he's doing is creating a smaller drum kit with a cajon as the "bass drum" What a joke.
