I feel sad about this video, having been the first trained nephrology nurse in Zambia and set up the second dialysis unit at Ndola Teaching Hospital. Though I am retired, I am ready to help in any way possible to improve renal services in Zambia

We need free facilities for people coz the issue has has not changed at all . What I did not show was the amount of people seated on a hard bench for hours waiting for a bed . Meanwhile the ‘honourable ‘ has a room prepared in advance for him.
      Very bad .

Each hospital should have a unit to dialyse patients and they don’t have to travel long distances
We should have more dialysis machines too in
Ndola, Kitwe and other patients can buy simple dialysis for them to do at home
Here in uk we don’t admit everybody who needs dialysis coz some of the patients are trained to dialyse themselves at home. So if the govt can look into that too to decongest hospital
