Just thought you might like to know this- I visited the Brontë parsonage museum this week with my husband and 2 autistic sons. They are very routine based and going somewhere new can prove stressful and challenging for them. I used this video of yours to help prepare them before we went and it really helped. My eldest son wanted to make sure we walked down the cemetery lane "just like Lucy's video". So there you have it- you've provided a sensory support video without even knowing it! Thank you xx
Just back from Haworth where I visited with my daughter. It was a fantastic experience. I found the graves of Tabby and Martha. The room where they wrote their novels really got me. Tried to walk to Top Withins, but had to turn back because of the weather. The staff were so nice and even took a copy of my small novel to keep there. I will go again sometime.
People come from all over the world to visit the Brontë house. I feel utterly ashamed that I’ve never been, yet live only 20miles away! 😳 I think I’ll go in a few weeks time on my week off 🤞
This is a wonderful museum and the presence of the Bronte sisters is so strong. You really wouldn't be surprised if one of them walked through the door and started to talk to you.
The video is especially great for the Brontes’ world wide aficionados, too far away to visit Haworth and get to the experience the magic of such an iconic place. Thanks!
this was so lovely!! I need to visit myself but until then your video was a great apetizer to get into the right mood to read the brontes and walk where they have walked and explore their surroundings... :)
I've started Wuthering Heights, but I haven't been in the reading mood for a while now, BUT watching this video makes me want to pick it back up!! Since I haven't been in the reading mood, I haven't been reading, which means I haven't picked up Wuthering Heights in, honestly, months. I haven't wanted to push myself to read because I don't want to end up not liking a book because I don't feel like reading. Thanks for sharing!!!
I did enjoy the video, thank you Lucy. For many years I lived close by and was once daft enough to walk over the tops from Stanbury to Hebden Bridge by way of Withins - in the snow. Don't blame you in the slightest for turning back. It adds a certain something to Wuthering Heights if you've experienced the horizontal sleet, but that's not necessarily recommended. Looking forward to further instalments.
I visited at the end of February and already want to go back! I could spend so much time just absorbing everything, learning about each of their lives. You captured the parsonage so well on camera!
I loved this video! I had no idea you could go and see some of the items that they actually owned. I need to add this to places for me to go on a day out list.
Yes! The Brontë Society owns thousands of the Brontës' possessions and they're displayed in the Parsonage. The collection is rotated every year so there's always something new to see. It's a place I think everyone should visit!
I love the Brontë parsonage so much. It just felt so much like what I hoped the Brontë’s home would have felt like. I’m sure some people think the crows might sound annoying, BUT I think they add so much atmosphere to the video and love them. I also got to write down a line in the Wuthering Heights installation and love seeing it on display in this video!
Excellent video. I visited on two occasions. I'd recommend trying to go when you know the weather will be a touch better, as Lucy has no doubt discovered. Try to read Juliet Barker's biog. beforehand too it will really add to the experience. A magical place to be.
Hi! Let me start by saying that it seems to my that this must be your best video ever. Besides, I was delighted to watch the place where the Brontes lived, and I hope one day I'll be able to visit it by myself, meanhile, I would watch this video. Best regards!
The parsonage is amazing unfortunately Haworth is now a commercial tat shopping street. When I first visited it still had the remnants of authenticity but it’s ruined now. I’m sorry to say it. I wouldn’t go back preferring to look at pics of how it was.

Despite of the sound in the beginning, it is a great video and captured a real Wuthering Hights atmosphere! Thanks for sharing this experience!
I love this! I'd feel so emotional being around objects they actually used, like their dresses!
I find it very emotional when I'm there! Their dresses particularly because they're so intimate and personal. x
I cried when I visited Laura Ingalls Wilder’s house and I would cry there too
this was such a great video! Hopefully, one day I get to visit and see for myself.
Promised myself to go there when I finished reading every single Brontë book.
The forest and landscapes is really beautitul. With it being that cold, i cant imagine how they all managed to keep warm.

This is one of the best videos I’ve seen since I started visiting Book Tube. Thank you!
That means so much -- thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Gail! x

I went there today it’s honestly amazing!
i hope on your next visit you can walk to Top Withers and show what remains of it
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this special video!!!
What a great tour! The crows were really partying that day. Also, any idea why Patrick shot his gun every morning?
He carried a loaded pistol in case of trouble from Luddites protesting against the introduction of machines that would affect their livelihoods.
It was the only way to discharge the bullet from the gun.
Loved the video, will be watching more.
Thanks for this. Haworth is a bucket list destination for me!
I really hope you get to tick it off one day!
Now in my bucket list!!!
What was the name of the Movie that was filmed? I couldn't hear it. Thank you. Lovely tour. Thanks for this.
You, minding your business, blogging
The birds: CAw CAW CAW
Thank you for the awesome tour.

Love it! ❤️
Lovely video Lucy.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Hermoso video. Saludos de un ecuatoriano.
Amazing video! Does anyone actually live there since there was no-one around?
U deserve good things..
I really enjoyed this video
Great video!
I always felt so sorry for Patrick. His wife and all six of his children preceded him in death.
Some orthodontics, in particular, the left eye tooth, is in order.
great video
Lovely! Brilliant! Are you participating in ShakeTube18?
Appropriate atmospherics.

did you encounter Catherine's ghost ??? LOL
No wonder they all died early. What a crummy climate!
if you call in the BLACK BULL pub ! : on display is the original chair that BRANWELL BRONTE used !
Ditch the glasses, Lucy. Buy some contacts. Meanwhile, this was badly done.

You didn't start out audibly well.
Lucy, please marry me.
Horribly unprofessional. Blatantly amateurish.
