Hi Myra, I’ve been eating like this and have seen incredible health benefits, especially weight loss. I weighed 297 lbs and went down to 221 in 3 months. But I have a question for you. I’m starting to feel those comfort food cravings now that the weather’s started getting colder. I feel almost like my diet has gotten stagnant or blah, if that makes sense. I’ve been afraid of using sauces and dressings on my food due to hidden sugars and processed ingredients. The other day I would’ve done almost anything to have some enchiladas verde with all the extras. I’m terrified of sabotaging myself as I have with so many other diets I’ve done in the past. Unfortunately, I had developed some serious health issues that will return if I go back to eating the way I did before. So my question for you is; do you ever level up your non-processed meals with any extra sauces or dressings that are also wholesome and unprocessed? (For example, enchilada or BBQ sauce, ranch, thousand island, or honey mustard dressing, or hollandaise sauce) If so could you please share the recipes or products you trust to buy? If you don’t recommend these extras, can you give tips on how to overcome this hurdle. I’m trying not to treat this change as a temporary diet, but as a lifestyle change, and I never want to go back to the lifestyle I lived before.🙏🏼🫶🏼 Thank you!
You are great! These tips are so good! I don't do without wholewheat pasta and wholegrain rice, but I eat an unprocessed, healthy diet. And I'm NEVER hungry! And I'm NOT fat! Yey! x

She's 100% correct. I've lost 50lbs since October and for me fasting till lunch or later working out with weights, rucking 1.5 miles per day with 45lb in backpack and doing small walk after dinner to prevent blood sugar spike. Mostly low carb but put fruits in smoothie before bed with magnesium, potassium vitamin C and delicious cookies and cream whey protein. I lose weight much faster when I eat fish for lunch or dinner.

I’ve lost 100 lbs over the last 14 months. Eating low carb and around 1200 calories a day. Can you do a video on how you got into maintaining your weight. I’m struggling to figure out how many calories I can eat in a day without gaining weight. If I eat like 1400 calories a day I’ll gain. It’s really frustrating.
OMG... I feel you! I lost a ton of weight at 1800 Cals, then MyNetDiary kept telling me to reduce my intake down, down, down. It was getting ridiculous & my doctor said it didn't make a lot of sense either. I was down to like 900 Cals, at which point I felt like I was starving. My Doc said to ignore the apps advice on cal adjustments & kinda do my own thing, but then I noticed I gain weight... I truly don't understand having to eat such a small volume of food/Cals to maintain weight loss or to keep losing. Last time I dieted, I was able to eat however many Cals I wanted, as long as I got my protein grams in~ I don't know if it's an age/menopause thing or what, but it makes me wanna scream every week on weigh-in day... Ugh!
I can definitely tell on days when I eat healthier and do my walking and exercise I feel a ton better verses days I eat unhealthy and don't move around much.
What about Dave’s killer power seed bread?? Or healthy whole grain bread? Just on an occasion😉. I am a bread eater and can’t get full unless I have some kind of bread at least once a day 😞
I think the number one thing should’ve been calorie deficit because you can cut process food all you want and over eat on all of the dairy and fruit and then meat and vegetables and still end up overweight. I know it’s really hard because I have eaten the perimeter and the Paleo away because that’s pretty much what you’re explaining. It’s good food but if you’re not in a calorie deficit, you will not lose weight and I also know that I’ve been in a calorie deficit and eating processed food and still lose weight so calorie deficit that’s worth that honey.
I used to have tuna salad and chicken salad and egg salad in the fridge, when I first did low carb and it really helped, now my beloved Hellman's mayo is a nono 😢.
I think the Keto processed foods that come in bags and boxes are also highly processed and "dirty" when it comes to clean Keto. They are not for people trying to lose weight (in my own opinion). Maybe during maintenance when we lose all the weight we want to lose. But even so, they still seem like junk to me. I have lost my weight, and once in a while I'll have something off the menu. But I always pay for it. My body just isn't used to eating processed foods. I think it takes a while for us to realize we don't need junky food, even if it does taste good. Thank you
Great video but there is a something I have to correct, Myra. I am a food safety auditor and we should stay away from Ultra Processed Foods. Be careful just saying Processed Foods. The official definition of processed is: Processed food is any food or drink that has been changed from its natural state in some way during preparation or manufacturing. This can include: Basic processing: Washing, cutting, heating, pasteurizing, canning, freezing, drying, dehydrating, mixing, or packaging Adding ingredients: Preservatives, nutrients, flavors, salts, sugars, or fats Making ready meals: Creating snacks or ready meals. ........If you cut your fruit or meat, it is processed. We have to stop demonizing the word processed. We mean reduce ultra processed. I would change it to say eat more whole foods and reduce ultra processed foods. But saying stay away from processed foods is not a correct statement. @lowcarblove
Ok now we know about the whole food and a little of low carb stuff but now what about portion of the Whole Foods and a little bit of low carb stuff. Can a person over eat these Whole Foods and a little bit of low carb stuff. Can one eat more at a certain time of day to sustain hunger before the last meal. Like a bit more lunch than a normal sized dinner. Because over eating these foods too can cause problems right low carb love.

The shift in thinking “focus on your health “ is brilliant….
I can definitely tell on days when I eat healthier and do my walking and exercise I feel a ton better verses days I eat unhealthy and don't move around much.
When your constantly incorporating these processed foods you tend to keep eating them more and more
It becomes to be overboard
What about Dave’s killer power seed bread?? Or healthy whole grain bread? Just on an occasion😉. I am a bread eater and can’t get full unless I have some kind of bread at least once a day 😞
Sourdough recipe please looking for different tastier keto bread
Artisan bread with steve
Great Advice ❤😉
Mama Francis nice video😍😍
Absolutely true
Bravo!!!🎉
This can include:
Basic processing: Washing, cutting, heating, pasteurizing, canning, freezing, drying, dehydrating, mixing, or packaging
Adding ingredients: Preservatives, nutrients, flavors, salts, sugars, or fats
Making ready meals: Creating snacks or ready meals. ........If you cut your fruit or meat, it is processed. We have to stop demonizing the word processed. We mean reduce ultra processed. I would change it to say eat more whole foods and reduce ultra processed foods. But saying stay away from processed foods is not a correct statement. @lowcarblove
Yes Girl! Yes!!
Awsome tips!
What is your portion size in the foods you eat?
Great video!!
Should I change from low fat mayo to full fat, which has less carbs, and can I really eat cheese. Great video, Thankyou.
Is peanut butter processed? I buy clean but don’t feel satisfied until I consume some!
BOOM!!!! Yes! You speak the truth. Some will be triggered by this message but it's the genuine truth❤
Thank you
