Judge sees Sanji as a Failed Subject. Luffy sees Sanji as a person with a heart of gold and a dream that he wants to fufill.

He is the same person he was as a kid in a lot of ways, but what's truly different about him now is that he found people who love him for who he is rather than hate him for it Luffy- and by extension the crew- doesn't measure his love for others through their physical strength, and he's the last person to care about royal pride, and more than anything he would obviously respect anyone who's willing to put their life on the line for others The Strawhat crew can see all these things about him and understand that Sanji's kindness is a strength, not a weakness I find that a really amazing thing to drive home here
This was the very moment that made me say Sanji you've made a big mistake letting him live. For the fact this guy didn't even show one oz of thank you for you risking your life to save him and his family. That's not right!! 😡😡😡
He didn't make a mistake keeping him alive for one simple reason: he has to live with the fact that he pushed away the one son who made his dream of having the strongest offspring come true. Judge loves control, but he can't control Sanji, so he insults him because that's all he can do. It may have worked when Sanji was a child, but he's not that kid anymore. Now Sanji knows he can put Judge in his place, and he'll never be the one to relieve Judge of his grief.
