its a callback to when he was lost to Califa and Nami scold him basically saying “if you dont want to fight her at least runaway” since he cannot run away now, he ask for her help.
Nah Franky was obviously being sarcastic with that grin on his face. He knows that Sanji called Robin because she is more than capable of defending herself. Jinbei simply hasn't been in the crew long enough to understand. Nami is disappointed that Sanji managed to let a woman exploit his chivalry against him again. And Usopp, already knowing, decides to pay attention to the com systems instead and play the long game.
I love this moment so much, shows so much growth for these two. Sanji, Who would never, EVER, ask for help, especially put Robin or Nami in danger... Now knows just how powerful they are and trusts them completely. And Robin, who is finally feeling less of a princess in her own mind, must have felt so validated with him asking for help.
It also goes back to the lesson Sanji gave during Enies Lobby. There are things some of them can do and things some of them can't, as well as Nami's insistence that "if running away is also against your chivalry than at least throw that part away". Sanji couldn't be at Kalifa, so Nami did it. Usopp couldn't beat Jabura, so Sanji did that. Usopp then went on to pull his sniping from the Tower of Justice, stalling long enough for Franky to arrive. Here, Sanji can't take on Black Maria and he knows it, so he calls on Robin knowing full well she can. He also alerts everyone to the spy animals running around in the process.
Finally someone that understands it. The biggest lesson we got during Whole Cake Island is that Sanji should have more trust on his friends instead of trying to held all the burden unto himself. Now, we get the fruits of that, Sanji realizing that he now acknowledge that he can asked for help from his friends and "passed the baton". This also calls back to what he said to Usopp Sogeking in Water7 before he fought with Jabura (that wolf zoan guy). For Robin . . . . let's just say i'm glad we're seeing her fighting an actual 1v1 instead of being a Support role, considering how interesting her DF ability is
I wish people realized he didn't call Robin out of fear or weakness. He would let himself die before risking Robins life. No he realized he needed to completely trust and believe she would win which he did. He knew he would be more help else where and that Robin could handle this fight. Remember what he said to Ussop. "You do what I can't and I'll do what you can't" same applies here.
Sanji asking for help is TWENTY fucking years in the making. Amazing patience for the creator of this epic show. For those who just got into One Piece, appreciate the fact that there are old timers like me who started watching this anime during middle school, when the adventure had just begun. To finally reach this point with this character, literally, it's like watching your kid grow from birth to leaving the house.
@@amirhamzah97 That's the point, kinda. Sanji has always been prideful and would never ask for help from *anybody*, doubly so if it would put a woman in harm's way. He would sooner betray and abandon the Straw Hats than even consider asking for help. He has been scolded many times by other members of the crew for this over the course of the series, but it never truly stuck until the events of Whole Cake Island, when he was able to see firsthand just how far his friends were willing to go just for him. Sanji finally learning to drop his pride and rely on others, that's a huge breakthrough in his character development years in the making.
@@aRandomFox00You're rigth about the change but it's not pride. I think it's kindness and that make this change more beautiful. Sanji don't want to annoying people with his own problems, like he can't be loved. When he said he needed Robine he trust her for sure but he knowed that she don't wilk hate him.
Robin showing up to help Sanji is such a badass and sweet moment at the same time. And the fact that she thanks him for seeing her as an equal crew mate who’s got his back and can hold her own is perfect
That scene always makes me laugh. It looks like as if Whos Who is just a naughty house cat and Jimbei is the owner and sprays water on him to calm down.
Sanji can't beat up woman, Black Moria recognized and exploited this, it's part of Sanji's character. Him relying on Robin for this because he knows how truly powerful and capable Robin is & also the fact that she was a former assassin, is the reason why Sanji called for her aid. She really appreciated him relying on her and this is why the Straw Hat Crew dynamic is one of the best in Anime History. :D
As someone who usually hates Sanji’s simping I loved this scene. This was not about simping but knowing his own limits and trusting his comrade to not even look back while leaving to pick his own fight. It is like Zoro once told to Chopper (I believe): everyone needs to do the best he/she can and leave the rest to his/her nakama.
I recall a scene during Enies Lobby arc when Sanji told Sogeking : « There are things I can do but you can’t, there are also things I can not do but you can. You just have to figure out what is it, Ussop! » Then, not denying he is Ussop (lol), and proceed to go at the top of the Tower to shoot soldiers and Spandam (twice) to prevent them for dragging Robin to the big door leading to Impel Down.
Let's be honest here folks. If it was Chopper calling out for Robins help. She would've burst through the door already in demon form, and would killed everyone in that room in one swoop.
In Ennies Lobby Sanji said to Usopp "Everyone has things they can and they cannot do. I'll do what you can't, you go and do what I can't". In this scene he is putting that into practice. Amazing character moment
I hated seeing the hate he got for this. It just shows you how far he’s come. Sanji would NEVER put Nami or Robin in danger. But everyone in the crew has their strengths and weaknesses. I’m so proud of him for putting that trust into Robin and knowing that she’ll handle it. Between Enies Lobby and Whole Cake Island Robin and Sanji were in the same boat 🤧

It was a losing fight for him coz women, so it was a very logical act on his part 6. And ofcourse, robin felt very happy that the fourth strongest man on their crew trusts her to fight
This is very strong moment. Shows Sanji’s change after whole cake island, he finally sees himself worthy to ask his friends for a help and everyone in the crew knwos the importance of this moment too.
Casual observers: "WHAT A WEAK ASS BITCH!" Usopp: "Where'd that broadcast come from?! Are they spying on us?!" Robin: *bitch slaps Black Maria* "Thank you for believing in me, Sanji! Now go take care of the All-Stars!"
As much as this scene is cool for robin, moments like this is why I love sanji. he trust his crew so well that he will call them in time in need. its very heartwarming to appreciate your nakama.
Robin is so happy for this she was waiting for that kind of help she could give not only by becoming a member but a true family and big sister come to rescue.
This is was a great plot point! It was the reverse on the whole damsel in distress trope around. You guys gotta remember Oda is comedy fan. This is just him being funny.
robin changed a lot and this moment right here made me in tears. because she came and protected sanji. she is the most awesomest character that cares for the members and sanji is a womanizer but is right in my perspective, because he is an respectable man that didnt even lift a finger to women sticking to his own code.
Admitting weakness and asking for help is a part of growing up. It's funny and Sanji looks "pathetic" to the anime boys who only care about appearance of strength. But look at this from growth perspective and you see why this is important for the Strawhats. Sanji obviously has a weakness but it doesn't require him to compromise anything because he can rely on his crew mates
I was surprised to find out that others were embarrassed for Sanji over this! LIKE, WHY? THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS EVER. 1. He knew that they would understand his situation ~Nami easily got it. And because they knew each other too well, they already have enough understanding of each other. Sanji knows that all of them would get Black Maria's trying to trap Robin. 2. Straw Hats protect each other and yet, they also empower one another. Sanji knows that they each would defeat Kaido's bigwigs. He is not to underestimate Robin's capacity to do so. 3. Character development (like what everyone else here says): they have learned to trust their comrades to save them. 4. He needs to get to the samurais soon! He has gauged Black Maria's powers so he knew Robin could wing it!! I love it. Robin-chan loved it as well! She felt empowered and trusted. ♥️
Yeah, I mean Sanji has a principle, he never hurts women even if it kills him. But he also can’t let himself die since he has a duty to find the all blue and make luffy the pirate king. This was a great moment.
@@thatwontdo2036 yea Luffy is a totally different level right now. But before Sanji's power up during wano, i'd say that Luffy and zoro were closer compared to Zoro and sanji.. Which isn't right. Zoro and sanji should always be somewhat equal, with zoro always being ahead but not by too much. Before wano, zoro was ahead of sanji by.. Too much.
People complaining about Sanji asking for help in a fight against women. But my whole thing is did you see the way Robin lit up when she thanked him for relying on her the way she relys on him. Best girl deserved that moment. That's why Saul better be ok.
This was actually one of my fave moments in wano! I love that Sanji called for her and I love that she came without question to help him and I love that none of the people that actually matter to either of them judged him but rather understood his intentions
Important to note: Sanji has NEVER asked for help, in fact, he'd rather sacrifice himself than burden his crew. This is a very game changing moment for Sanji, since for once, he's being selfish and asking for one of his friends to save him. And Robin, of all people. Sanji would rather die than hurt a woman, or let one be hurt by his selfishness.
robin needs screen time like this more often. she’s such a badass and more than capable of stepping up to take on stronger enemies. not to the level of the monster trio but if she learned and implemented armament haki and/or observation, that’s a different story.
I love how not a single member of the straw hats thought Sanji was being disgraceful or pathetic. They knew he was just relying on his crew, and that he trusted them. That’s how the crew works after all, what one member can’t do another will make up for.
The click-clacking of Robin’s heels down that hallway just brought me all the way back to my childhood. In my brain I was like, “Oooooo somebody’s in troubleeeee!!!” She sounded just like a momma on her way to whoop somebody ass! The fact that her attack is called “Spank” is so fitting for this scene😂

@@amenra4556 people still think the bounties equal strength
Fourth? Is it because of Jinbei?
Fourth is crazy cap
Third**
This is very strong moment. Shows Sanji’s change after whole cake island, he finally sees himself worthy to ask his friends for a help and everyone in the crew knwos the importance of this moment too.
Casual observers: "WHAT A WEAK ASS BITCH!"
Usopp: "Where'd that broadcast come from?! Are they spying on us?!"
Robin: *bitch slaps Black Maria* "Thank you for believing in me, Sanji! Now go take care of the All-Stars!"
The way sanji saw robin with such an adorably just melted my heart
It was like child seeing at his mom happily
Loved Sanji soo much for this he can finally ask for help after WCI, and not underestimated Robin, RESPECT!!!
Man I can't wait for the Robin vs Black Maria fight to be animated. Gonna make our girl look so badass
Nah really
Anything that puts the focus on my favorite female character Robin I'm all for
It is next thing, Jinbei and Who's who is over, Franky and That helicopter dinosaur is over. Now Black Maria vs Our Demon 😈
As much as this scene is cool for robin, moments like this is why I love sanji. he trust his crew so well that he will call them in time in need. its very heartwarming to appreciate your nakama.
Remember kids it’s always okay to ask for help when you need it
You know robin coming when you hear random necks just snapping 😂😂
How many times I watch this episode, still Robin's entry gives me goosebumps! Proud as hell! Like, the moment she has been waiting for is here!!🔥
Sanji's smile at the end made this so wholesome 😂
Throughout the series, Robin was always helped. But with sanji calling for help, it meant now it's her turn to help the crew and she is not a burden
Big growth moment for both Robin and Sanji
The look in his eyes before he yells Robin Swaaaaan 😭 the feels. Man i would be happy too
Robin is so happy for this she was waiting for that kind of help she could give not only by becoming a member but a true family and big sister come to rescue.
Cry for help is no weakness, you just acknowledge that you need a friend to boost yourself back up.
This builds character for Sanji and it shows you how great he is. He will never hit a woman. Best pirate ever.
Sanji is thr funniest characters In n saddest characters one piece apart from usop no lie robbin characters channnn
Such character development all around. I admire how despite Sanji refusing to hit a woman, he entrusted Robin because she’s powerful enough
This is one of my favorite moments. Sanji trusting in Robin so much to call for her help knowing she’d be walking into a trap.
Sanji with his regained sense of self worth and confidence in the straw hats:😭😭😭
Robin happy to help:😈😈😈
Love how jimbei just threw that water bullet at who’s who like get back bitch im monologuing!!
😂😂😂
Loved when Nami casually trusted sanji and said its most likely a women otherwise he will never call for help
Yeah, I mean Sanji has a principle, he never hurts women even if it kills him. But he also can’t let himself die since he has a duty to find the all blue and make luffy the pirate king. This was a great moment.
Nami knowing immediately that he must be facing a woman was gold ❤
You will see soon how strong is Sanji .. he is a real demon
Just wait Sanji awake his Exoskeleton like his brother's body but stronger
Zoro vs Sanji who win?
@@hieu216tdq8 zoro but it's closer than zoro vs luffy
@@thatwontdo2036 yea Luffy is a totally different level right now.
But before Sanji's power up during wano, i'd say that Luffy and zoro were closer compared to Zoro and sanji.. Which isn't right.
Zoro and sanji should always be somewhat equal, with zoro always being ahead but not by too much.
Before wano, zoro was ahead of sanji by.. Too much.
LOL at Nami knowing exactly what’s up
This is why I love Sanji so much. No one can do something like this.... If I were you, I would also want to help Robin Chawn.💙🥰❤️🔥🫡🫶😻🔥🙌👑😎🚬💜❤️🔥
only true fans and the straw hats understand sanji. he did nothing wrong.
Sanji is killing me at the end 😅😂😂😂Robin-chhwaaaaannn~~!!!
I actually loved it! I re-watched it maybe 3-4 time just to feel how much he trusted Robin and of course he knows it is a trap but he trusted her!
i love robins and sanjis relationship!!!!!
0:01 best moment
I have been waiting for Robin to channel her Miss All Sunday energy again since Alabasta. This was such a wonderful way to start that.
She slap the spider out of her ahah
People complaining about Sanji asking for help in a fight against women. But my whole thing is did you see the way Robin lit up when she thanked him for relying on her the way she relys on him. Best girl deserved that moment. That's why Saul better be ok.
Honestly such a good moment. The enemy clearly didn't think this ploy would work. Too bad for them it did and damn did it bite them in the butt.
Sanji knew Robin kick ass😊
Remember what he himself told Usopp in Enies Lobby? "I'll do what you can't, you go do what I can't"
Robin always protective his child's 😌😂
0:38 “How pathetic”
You’re gonna be crying like a little girl very soon 😂
Yep he already did 😂😂 he is the pathetic one even sanji will not beg if shanks try to kill him
Such a Golden moment. Gives me chills everytime no matter how many times I watch it. ❤
Actually, its brave from Sanji wanting help from his friend
This was actually one of my fave moments in wano! I love that Sanji called for her and I love that she came without question to help him and I love that none of the people that actually matter to either of them judged him but rather understood his intentions
Not withstanding jimbei who is just too new to the crew and still I don’t think he was judging sanji either 😅
I don't know about the boys but, those SH girls definitely understand Sanji the most.
I liked this moment
Finally it's mommy's time to shine
Franky literally said it's pathetic. I don't know if he was joking though cause he was laughing
@@magda386 I think the point was he wasn't taking it seriously, he was like "lol silly guy"
@@snicksssye
This scene is showing that they trust each other enough to ask for help even if they have a chance of dying.
1:16
She knows him all too well lol
Look at Sanji's eyes after robin came in, it's soooo sweet🥺
Hes so serius he didint say the chuaaaaan dang firstime hearing him say it without the chuaan
Haha the Robin chwann in the last part really get me
2:28 he looked so cute omfg.
Remember when Sanji said this to Usopp: "I'll do things that you couldn't do, then, the things that i couldn't, you do it."
In this case: You can't beat Queen? I'll do it, then, beat Maria for me.
Sanji really had so much character growth cuz if whole cake didn’t happen first let’s be honest he wouldn’t have called out Robin like he did… damn oda really knows how to make you feel the connection these friends and crew mates share. It’s beautiful asf in such a pure way I feel a lot of folk don’t love they friends like this in real life anymore. Hell now we pushing into young men and women’s heads that they shouldn’t be friends and they should just fuck 🙄 boi I wish I could have friends like Robin and Nami. They beautiful asf but they are so much more 😩😩. They got day one A1 energy
I love how his face lights up as soon as he sees robin show up
Remember Guys, It's never weak to ask for help if anything it makes you stronger to be able to rely on a person like that.
I love hearing those bone crackling sound , here comes Robin-chan 😂
Sanji: I can't hurt a woman :,(
Robin: But I can :)
That moment sanji call mugiwara crew moms for help 😅😅😅
