They didn't even try to rescue him. When his brother jumped in the hole was something like 6 feet deep, and it was so unstable it just kept sinking and sinking.
I remember when this happened. Pathetic Florida officials didn't bother to try to rescue or recover the guy who got swallowed up. They just tossed some flowers down the hole and filled it in without verifying that the man was really dead. Meanwhile, if your a half dozen billionaires on a joy ride to the Titanic, no expense is spared.
Or if you're black or gay all the woke will come out of the woodwork to use it as a pr opportunity They'd raise millions and make sure they were saved but this was a white male southerner

If his brother heard him screaming and jumped in the hole how the hell did authorities not recover the body . I bet they would have found it if it was somebody “famous “.
Exactly. They go to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to save a fee billionaires from an implosion but wouldn't even try to dig a hole for a poor white man. If he'd been black they'd of tried out of fear of being called "racist" the hole wasn't that deep they could've taken a crane and suspended men in harnesses above to dig using high powered large dirt pump ect.ect

You don't live in Florida, do you? Our fresh water is in aquifers. Underground pockets in limestone. Sometimes things shift. More water usage may inevitably cause these sink holes.
@@carolynatkinson9298 I've been to Florida many times. I understand the ground water situation but that sink hole will likely never stop opening up unless they figure out a better way to plug the hole. Also all that gravel and mud they are filling it in with is probably getting mixed in with a fresh water aquifer which probably isn't good. It'd be alot better if they excavated the area and figured out exactly whats going on so they can properly fix it imo. They're probably going to have too eventually if it keeps opening up. I can't imagine 300+ years from now they're going to still have all that fenced off and occasionally have to fill it. I went back and watched a few older videos, initially the hole was something like 6 feet deep and gradually got deeper and deeper. When crews were on the scene it was 20 something and seemed to eventually settle around 60ft
@@lettus143 wow and 60 ft ain't that deep at all with all the heavy equipment available today even in 2013 I could see if it was 1000 ft deep but 60 they could have lowered men in harnesses down by crane
Exactly. They should've never patched it up and kept looking for Jeffrey. Even if they have a fence around it patching up a hole is more dangerous because it's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Keeping it the way it originally was is a sign to all nature to stay away. What's the point of patching up a sinkhole when it will reopen, it's just apart of a nature design. Humans keep patching up something that is supposed to be a hole and expecting it to not reopen. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome right? Also they are burying Jeffery's body deeper and deeper underground when they keep adding new dirt on it for it to crash down making it less and less impossible to find his body.
Jeffery is still fighting to give his family closure and peace. I think because Jeffrey is confused he doesn't know why did the hole up specifically while he was sleeping in the beginning. I think Jeffery is probably have something to do with this sinkhole keeps opening up after the first time. Alot people are in a confused state immediately after death. They don't know they're dead. So they begin to to show us in many ways that they are still there. But because alot of us always believed that there is a logical explanation for this and that. Look at situations from both sides.
